Does the job
Not many mis-fires on these wood traps and they last longer than the plastic ones which seem to break after a few kills.

Don’t but these traps; they don’t work.
The traps are ineffective and weak. We caught one mouse dead on (pun intended) with one trap but rather than killing the mouse, it merely encumbered it. The mouse dragged the trap under the stove so it suffered and we had a difficult time getting it out and we had to kill the mouse. Thinking it was just that one trap, we set others. Mica can efficiently clean the last bit of peanut butter off the trap without setting it off. These traps are a complete waste of money and effort.
