Peppa Pig: 1000 First Words Sticker Book

This clever book combines two popular passions of 2 to 5 year-olds: Peppa Pig and stickers! And it’s educational to boot. In total there are 64 pages of different topics, ranging from nature, space and transport to food, body parts and holidays, among many others. Some items are pictured and others have just a silhouette, which has to be completed with the stickers. As all items are named, a child can look for the sticker with the same label as the silhouette, or simply match the shapes. This means that the book can appeal to different ages and ability levels.The book is billed as 1000 first words, and it does a great job of promoting vocabulary development in children who are already talking well but are ready to be introduced to new words. I especially like the pages devoted to words describing activities and feelings. I bought this for my 2.5 year-old grandson to help keep him occupied on a long distance flight and I’m told it worked a treat. The only criticism I got was that the sticker pages are not perforated, so have to be torn or cut out to make them easy to work with. We purchased this book for a second time as the first one has been worn out and all 1000 stickers used! My now 22 month old loves stickers and also Peppa - I do think this book has helped her to learn some new words but most importantly kept her entertained on numerous trips out!She enjoys trying to place the stickers in the right spot and hearing the names of all the words. Of course there are a few odd words that I doubt she will need to use any time soon but on the whole the topics are relevant to toddlers and/or relate to Peppa episodes.

Bought this sticker book for my 14 month old and I’m not sure who enjoys it more - me or her! It’s been great for her hand eye co-ordination as I help her peel the stickers off and show her where to put them. The stickers are labelled as to which page they are to go which is also super useful. Lots and lots of sticker, good for learning new words too.

So much interesting content and laid out in classic Peppa Pig style. We have bought the book for our 19m old and she loves the pages and recognising Peppa on the pages. We scan through the book to find words she is familiar with (at this age about 10%), but each time we have picked up the book we find new words/stickers to use. This book has been a book that our daughter has concentrated on and enjoyed for 30mins a time, which is about as long as she will stay interested in something at the moment. Reasonable value at £7. The sticker book is not reusable, and young children would need help to remove and place the stickers, without care many of the stickers will tear when they are unpeeled. For us, this isn't a problem as we use the book as an adult led activity.A few weeks later - THIS BOOK IS INCREDIBLE - we spend time looking at the pages and words every day together. I can’t believe that we have done most of the words already. I think a child’s capacity to learn quickly is astonishing. My biggest problem is finding a book to follow this one! Absolutely amazing - and fantastic value for money!

This was bought as an additional Christmas pressie for my nephew who is currently obsessed with sticker books. The book is great value and comes with MANY stickers and lots of little activities to do too. I was a bit worried at first he wouldn't be able to do many of the activities as he wasn't quite 3 at the time of purchase, however he has since completed the WHOLE book. Like I said, he REALLY likes stickers. Great buy, great price and one super happy if not slightly obsessed nephew. Will definitely purchase again!

This is worth every penny. My kids (and friends I have gifted to) have loved this and the kids spend ages going through this book over and over. It is more than just stickers. It is actually a sticker book with places to put the stickers in the book. It's great. The words don't always make sense with the pictures they use (word "cellar" and they aren't even in the cellar), but kids don't care. They. love. it.

I bought this book to keep in the car for long journeys or to take into restaurants whilst we wait for food. However my little girl had so much fun playing with this whilst we waited to get in the car that I bought two more there really are hundreds of stickers in this book. It is so much fun putting the stickers on the relevant space and learning the words with my daughter who is 2 1/2. Consequently it has really helped to improve her vocabulary. Once you are done sticking all the stickers in and act as a lovely book to go back to and revisit all the words that you’ve learnt the pictures are bright and colourful and Peppa Pig is really loved by so many children whether you like it or not. Are really fun way to learn new words.

My daughter absolutely loves this bookThis will keep little ones busy for hours and provides something parents can do with their children.Each page has a different scene or story and corresponding stickers. Really is fun for all involved.
