Great! dC3 error code was resolved. It worked as good as an OEM one. I was able to save over a lot of money.

This saved us a huge amount of money instead of having to bring out a repair person to fix our washer. The washer kept making a intermittent buzz sound and then would turn itself on/off and wouldn't start a new wash cycle. Replacing this part got everything back up and running and seems to be just as good of quality as the original. It wasn't difficult to install, you just need to take your time since the fit was perfect

If your washer displays a DC3 error it is for the small add wash door lock. Becarefull removing the inner door cover so you don't break the clip tabs that you cant really see. You kinda have to do it by feel. no need to take the cover all the way off just get it to where you can get to the switch and use a stubby Philips screwdriver. once your to that point its a minute to replace the switch. This switch looks to be at least as good as the original and my washer works as it is supposed to, also cant beat the price and I got it the next day too.

This part fixed the issue with my Samsung washer. Unlike a lot of people the washer did not give me a “DC3” error code at first. However, when I would start a cycle the washer would initiate its pre checks (i.e running the pump, checking the main door was closed, etc) but would not actually start the cycle. It would get “stuck” and the cycle would never initiate. I called an appliance repair company and they told me the ADD Wash door lock was broken after running a diagnostic cycle on the machine which finally produced the “DC 3” error code. The technician said the part was on back order with Samsung with no eta on when it would arrive. I did a quick search and came upon this part which fixed my issue.Installation was simple, just a few screws in the back side of the door which needed to be removed. After that I used a flat head screw driver to gently pry the back plastic housing from the door, the back housing held on using plastic clips. 2 screws hold the door lock to the door and a wiring harness which needs to be unclipped and that was it. Not sure on longevity or quality of the part yet but it fixed my issue.

This replacement part worked perfectly! Our Samsung front load washer (WF50K7500AV/A2) wouldn’t run any cycles and would sometimes throw a DC3 error code that was saying the small Add Wash door wasn’t closed/locking even though it was. After a bunch of multimeter testing on the main door latch mechanism and then taking apart the whole door, I was finally able to access this part and it seemed like it wasn’t operating correctly in the circuitry. This replacement showed up next day and was the perfect fix!
