I bought this for someone who needs to walk through a non-smoking area to go outside to smoke. It works great, contains the smell and makes it easy to store butts for later disposal. I gave it 4 stars because it is a little tricky to clean. Tipping out the butts still leaves behind the ashes because the opening is smaller than the interior of the bowl. Wiping them out with a paper towel works

Buy it. You'll love it and be safer. Buy two because they will ask to borrow. Easy dump-out with top removal.

This ashtray is just okay. It's on the small size and is good outdoors if you don't want ashes flying around when it's windy. If it was bigger I think it would be perfect!

A bit flimsy but works great. I have smokers who come over. I hate looking at cigs. Easy to clean.

Does not have a spot to hold your cigarette. But good
