Works great, I used them to give some extra length to my hammock straps, they hold well and worked through the summer, no damage so far and they were left out during rain/wind so they seem pretty durable.They come with a nice bag for storage. The tree saver felt stuff is just felt, and for my trees it was a bit short to protect it, but I’m sure it helps. You could also just use a towel or different felt honestly.

This is a wonderful product for hanging a swing in a tree. We did augment the felt strips that provide a barrier between the straps and limbs. All of the hardware we needed was an included.

I liked this product at first as it arrived quickly and was easy enough to put up. I wrapped each strap about three times around a 4 inch diameter tree branch and used it to hang up a large lay down swing for the kids. We have had it up in the backyard since about June and the kids used it quite frequently. The swing is rated for 300 pounds and these straps say they are good for 4400. So I expected the tree limb to break before anything else. Instead last night while my son was swinging one of the straps tore right in the middle spilling him to the ground. The swing was fine, he is a little bruised from the tumble but the strap gave out not at a sewed/surged end around the d rings but right in the e middle. Not even up by where the strap was wrapped around the green tree protecting felt where maybe I could see some friction broke it down or something. Be careful if you use these straps they are clearly not rated for the load that claim unless we just got a bad strap.
