has anyone used this on a boat? If so, with what results?

Yes. It leaves the gel-coat like new. Do not put on non-slip areas as it makes them slippery. Rub down with a good paste first so the oxidised layer is removed, Buff with Nanotech using a microfibre cloth and done. I reapplied about a week later when I realised some areas had been missed. The rain, pesky bird droppings and dust just roll off when I spray the boat with fresh water.

Has anyone used this on a spray paint project- (plastic) not a car?

I don't know, but when I spray my car I use it on the plastics as well as the paint on the body.

How long does Nano Coating last? A month or a few or a year like wax.

In my experience up to 6 months, but it will depend on the exposure of the paint finish to the elements. I have coated my garage doors with Nano coating and they have remained water and dirt repellent for 12 months now. I tend to coat my cars every 3 months. Regards, D
