My review includes the product and the customer service experience. The first product I received immediately threw out the E01 error. I contacted support and after the troubleshooting steps didn’t fix the problem, they sent me a full replacement within a couple of days. I wasn’t asked to ship anything back which is really nice since it’s always difficult to disassemble large items and even more difficult trying to fit them back into their original boxes. The item itself is nice. Great beginner rower. The levels of difficulty have a great variety. I think this will serve me for a while before I choose to upgrade. It’s quiet. It feels like a quality rower. Happy with it. I wouldn’t hesitate trying it out.

My wife is the one that uses the rower the most so this review is on her behalf. This is the second rower we’ve owned, the previous one was a water rower that we had for ~13 years but we used it very sporadically over the years. It finally broke and we bought this rower about a year and a half ago to replace it since my wife was working out from home now. The rower has been pretty good for her needs. She’s not an avid rower but for the past 6 months she’s been rowing more consistently. Compared to the water rower she really likes that you can adjust the resistance and I personally like that we don’t need the chlorine tabs. The only issue we’ve had so far is that it ran out of power in October last year and it couldn’t be turned on. My wife contacted the support team from their website and she was given instructions on how to power it. You will need to have a power cord to plug it to an outlet since it doesn’t come with it - not a USB one but one of the round ones (12V AC adapter). Once she charged it was back to normal and working fine ever since. We still don’t understand why this happened since it’s supposed to be rechargeable. In summary my wife is happy with the rower and besides that issue everything has worked fine and she prefers it to the water one.

The Merach Q1S rower is a great home rowing machine that's whisper quiet, easy to setup and use. I loved the no plug-in requirement as it lets me move it around and even put it outside if I want to. The apps are good but one of them requires a subscription which I won't use because I won't pay to work out. That kind of defeats the purpose of buying the machine.

It took my friend 20 minutes to put it together (not my thing but it appeared simple to assemble). It looks sleek but feels sturdy. I’ve used the device almost daily for two weeks. I got the electric-adjust self powered magnetic rower with 16 levels. I am a beginner but like nice things and would have been willing to pay a few thousand for a rower. But, I am glad I took a chance and got this device. It’s been great and worth the money.

That’s why I chose to buy a self-powered rowing machine, and I’m really glad I did. The machine was much lighter than I expected, and I was impressed by how quiet it is during use. Since it doesn’t require a power outlet, I can move it around easily without any hassle. Overall, it feels like I made a great choice with this model. The only downside is that the seat is a bit firm, so it can get slightly uncomfortable after a while. Aside from that, I’m very satisfied with the product.
