Star Wars Jedi: Survivor - Xbox Series X

The smooth controls and excellent running and jumping of a great Tomb Raider game mixed with the fighting excellent of a Batman game! Huge open world levels and some seriously cool game mechanics. You get chase levels, sky high acrophobic levels, heck they throw in the kitchen sink! The voice acting is stellar, as are the graphics and supporting cast! Just buy it!

As my title suggests, I adore this game. It rides the line between AAA game and extremely game-y controls/gameplay beautifully. However it pretty much has to be played on Quality Mode in order for it to be playable. Performance mode is a vaseline smeared mess. Even then, you'll deal with a consistent framerate stuttering issue and texture pop in that is really jarring (the game CANNOT handle bodies of water on screen. It goes down to 10-15 fps in these sections). Worse yet, I had the entire bounty hunting series of side quests bugged in a way that made it impossible to even experience. It is lucky that it has so much going for it. Otherwise, this would be a bigger issues. Took me 50 hours to complete and, once they patch it, I will go back to experience the entire bounty hunting system which I simply cannot access. I thought the story had real consequences and a nice mixture of melancholic heart as well as a good amount of darker elements. Combat needs some polish as it can be fairly cheap due to overly aggressive enemies paired with inconsistent hit/parry detection. Buyer beware. This game needs at least another month or two of work and even then I don't know if they will ever really get it to the level of polish it deserves. A beautiful mess.

I am not much of a gamer and don't like to battle/fight in games. This games allowed me to explore and follow the story like a movie.

One of the best sequels. They nailed the tone of the game with great characters story and sem open world. I just wish they would've more planets to explore. Looking forward to the sequel which is in works and confirm by the actor!

I liked how the enhanced the gameplay mechanics from the first one. For me I liked how they added in elements I like from other campaign games like: Bat Man, Titan Fall 2, the three newest Assassin Creed games. Bottom line: well done game.

This game improves everything about the first (phenomenal) game. I can't think of any complaints.
