Instead of using my bed and sofa and chairs; my cat started using this rest chair a few days after it arrived. It was a challenge to get him to use it but he is a cat, there are always challenges with cats but you got to love those critters. The chair is advertised for use with two cats but unless the cats are very close and not territorial than it will probably work. I can't envision two warring felines sharing this chair rest without some skirmish taking place. Definitely worth the price (I purchased it while on sale.)
