These Do Not Work Sadly
These dont make a difference at all on sound and more often than not keep the door from closing so you have to slam the door. Would not recommend.

2022 VW Arteon.
I can confirm it fits the 2022 VW Arteon. Here’s a sound test. The red spikes are the first 3 closes without the rubber dampener. The green ones are with it. Even the waveform shows the difference, less harsh impact, more controlled thud. it even makes opening the door sound better. The latch noise is softer and feels more solid, not that hollow clack anymore. It’s subtle on iPhone, but in person it’s way more noticeable.

The door lock sound deadener does not work for VW Tiguan 2018
No noticeable change of the sound after installing it.

2016 VW Passat se
Just got these, installed them on my VW Passat. You will notice an immediate difference in the sound. It's much quieter, and my door feels a bit firmer. I recommend these even if the cars new as it will save the hinges and door over time. I also did an harder close and it didn't have the metallic sound or hard pop like before.
