Excellent works a treat. good quality and works very well. Makes a good reasonable sound when spinning. great for the kids and to be honest for me as it reminds me of having one of these when I was a kid.

A nicely-made, traditional, metal toy which spins well and hums loudly. I remember being given one like it an awfully long time ago ... and I'm pleased to report that my grandson loves it as much as I did.Comments:(1) it's quite lightweight, so when you lift the handle for a second pump the whole toy lifts up, To really get it going well you need one hand to pump repeatedly and the other hand to hold the base down on the floor/table which makes it a bit tricky for a wee one to get the best out of it.(2) the manufacturer's packaging is a skeleton box made of paper-thin thin cardboard, which is totally unsuitable for wrapping up as a present. In the end I left everything as it arrived in the Amazon transit packing (much more robust) and wrapped that up! No-one seemed to mind!Summary:A delightful toy which imparts to the child the concept of "what you get out depends upon what you put in" in terms of effort, albeit that the effort will probably have to be provided by an older relative. And it doesn't have an American or Chinese accent, or require batteries !!!

I bought this for my niece's 1st birthday and was very pleased with my purchase. It has been well-used and enjoyed by babies, children and adults, and so far has performed without any problems. It's a good size and plays a nice humming sound when spun. The pattern is quaint and the packaging was attractive - I think it made it look expensive. A fabulous traditional toy that I would definitely buy again.

I bought this for my grandson's 1st birthday as I have fond memories of owning a tin spinning top as a child. He absolutely loves it and make a beeline for it whenever he comes to our house! He has quickly learned how to make it work and it's helped develop his motor skills. I have seen comments about the noise it makes when spinning fast, but I can't personally understand what the issue is. It really isn't very loud, and baby is fascinated when I get it to make the noise (he gives it to me to do this as he can't quite get it to go fast enough yet).

I really like this product and so will most kids. I knew what I was buying and as these things are so difficult to find in shops i'm VERY pleased to have bought it. My only grievance with this is that is called a 'Humming Top' but it doesn't hum. Had this not be advertised as such I wouldn't have minded. Not worth returning for as the kids love it, but don't like being misled.So all in all, I recommend this product, but don't buy it for the humming.

Toddler lovers it. Only thing is after a day of use it has now developed a squeak when starting it spinning and the sound goes right through you.

I bought this as a gift for a one year old who absolutely loved it. The parent loved it aswell as it reminded them of their childhood and said how lovely and nostalgic it was. Would highly recommend this product.

Elle tient très bien en place, les dessins sont très beaux, très rétro. Elle ne fait pas cheap, belle qualité. Toujours au top après près d'un an d'utilisation.Edit : Après avoir peu servi, elle ne marche plus! Déçue de la qualité!
