This is a replacement for the suction cup that came with the device and is a good replacement, though it strikes me as a bit expensive for what it is. Neither this nor its predecessor works on our minibus windscreens - too much vibration probably.

Visually, this is exactly the same as the original product, however that is where the good points end.The suction on this product is absolutely useless!The only way we can get this to stick to the screen, is by placing it on a completely flat sections of glass, that then leaves it in the way when we are driving. Dangerous and stupid.Would definitely not buy this product again!!UPDATE 02.08.21Driving along, after managing to find a place on the windscreen to stick the suction cup (again in a place I would never want to put the Sat Nav), it fell off and broke.This is one of the worst things I have ever bought from Amazon - a useless product!!!

My son lost the original mount for my sat nav but the cheap replacement he bought me was not up to the job. it was therefore with some trepidation that I ordered this mount. I have therefore been delighted that it has performed so well in the several weeks that I have used it since its purchase. The mount stays secure when mounted and is as good as the Garmin original. I strongly recommend you buy this mount as a cheaper alternative to purchasing one from Garmin

It does the Job but you will always need a spare as they are not ver durable,

My original needed replacing and bought this one. On first try to mount on windscreen I believed that the unit was faulty as it would not adhere. Seemed not to have the scope on the suction pad. BUT after applying a lot of pressure then pulling the arm down the unit is solid, very strong.
