The tool is quite effective. It cuts swiftly and easily. It is very lightweight and the chain is surprisingly resistant to coming off the track, even when it is too loosely adjusted. The tool is not without shortcomings, though. The screw driver used for adjusting chain tension provided with the tool is much too short and nearly impossible to use as a result. When in use, the screwdriver is parallel and right next to the blade. As a result, the screwdriver must be long enough to extend beyond the blade so you can turn it but it is not. Another minor issue is that the cover over the rear chain sprocket must be loosened to adjust chain tension. It's not really a problem once you figure it out. Until you do, though, it's a bit maddening that the chain tension adjustment screw won't turn. Lastly, the nut which holds on the cover over the rear chain sprocket seems destined to loosen due to vibration. When it does, the cover will loosen and the blade will come off its locating pin. In turn, that will allow the chain to come off or, worst case scenario, to fly off in who knows what direction. Check early and often that the nut is tight. Overall, this seems like a great tool if it is durable and if the batteries last for a meaningful length of time. I haven't used the tool enough to make a judgement on either of those yet.

This did actually cut down some branches that I never thought would be possible without a chainsaw. The size, (close to using a large drill) makes it great for getting into tight spaces. Light weight and battery has a long life. Far easier and convenient then breaking out the chainsaw. Only drawback is where the housing and chain come together, I had to stop several times to pull out wood that would get stuck and stop the chain (as shown in picture), by pulling on the chain the opposite way. However, still far easier then bringing out a chainsaw.

This is a great lil' saw. The battery lasted long on full power. It comes with 2 batteries, and when one went dead the other was already fully charged . Cut through a 6 inch diameter tree that had fallen in our yard like a boss! It is great for taking off limbs of a tree, too. No issues at all. Oil it regular with regular chain saw oil. Small. Light weight. Powerful( be careful, it is little but mighty). Great value. Nice carrying/ storage case. Highly recommend for girls that do not want to use a high power, regular- sized chainsaw.

This little song has a lot of power and helps make yard work so much easier. I recently bought one because a branch fell in my yard and I needed to cut it up along with a few other trimmings in my yard. This mini chainsaw is the perfect size, safe & easy to use, cut very well, and since its battery no smoke or gasoline. Would definitely recommend!

Okay, I'm not going to upload a photo because it is not needed here. Why? Because this device is really perfect in so many ways making my BIG job of removing dead wood, debris from the landscape so much easier. I plan to take down a very big tree soon using this. It has been a challenge to work with a hand saw before and I hesitated buying this due to cost. I have never been more pleased at the design and it really works. I watched one man rate the saw after the company sent him one for free to do just that. That video sold me on it, watching it in action. The video was spot on, I use this so easily and I'm a woosie....I wear heavy duty gloves, I use the oil during each cut and I clean it after each use to take good care of it. I have to say this is the BEST tool now added to my collection. I cannot recommend it more. I have chopped so much so far, breaking down large branches so I can get them into my trash dumpster and not pay a person hundreds of dollars to take the trash to the dump over and over again. The cuts are precise, clean and quick. Great job whomever designed this saw.

I have a couple of disabilities but I was able to use this to trim a lilac bush that has been long over due for a trim! I cut the branches down to burnable size for the fire pit and will be able to burn them by the end of summer, I hope. The only problem I had with it was keeping the battery on the saw. It kept falling off mid cut which was very frustrating. I’ll use it again but I may reach out to the company to see if there is a workaround or maybe something’s wrong with mine. All in all it allows me to do chores I wouldn’t be able to do. I would buy it again. **after using this baby another time I was able to get the battery to stay on. This saw is the best thing since sliced bread and I truly love it. I wanted to update my review on this wonderful piece of equipment. I must not have “locked” my battery in good enough because in using it again I was able to secure the battery better making this perfect if you’re right handed. I really like using it and it allows me to trim areas in my yard that would be impossible without the mini version of a chainsaw.

Ok, I’m in Houston and I bought this to trim up some trees and it did a terrific job. Made quick work of small branches and made a big job feel small. Even took down some larger branches I didn’t think it could. Fast forward a little and Hurricane Beryl rolled through. My yard was full of downed branches. Including a particularly big one that you could call a small tree. This thing handled it all. Some of the bigger branches I had to cut one half first, the other half second, but it did the job. It did not quit or break. This thing is worth the money if you’re on the fence. I may buy one on this Labor Day sale (which was my inspiration for this review). Hope this review helps.

Very good. Although I ordered the 4 inch but got the 6 inch saw. The battery runs out a bit faster than expected. But having 2 batteries helps and the work does not stop . I was able to use it for 1 full hour before the battery ran out.

Will work great for small jobs. Will enjoy the use it will.get. cutting twigs and branches.

Love my mini Chainsaw it cuts though really well, Light and perfect for cutting branches and for new users
