Does Island Fresh smell like fruit or flowers? Is 1/4 cup enough to use in an HE Front Loader?

Smells more on the fruity side . I take in consideration this won’t be like other brands so I tend to use a lil more than normal. Size of load matters

can i use this in an old washing machine? If it's not HE?

Yes you can. I use this in mine.
