How to assemble this tool (no instruction provided)?

Skinny hose goes into the rubber sleeve on thicker hose...if you so choose to use the extention. The thicker tube goes into the bottom of the tool. Not the rubber sleeved end. Pull back on the little ring at bottom of tool when you insert thicker hose. I fumbled a bit myself.
