We initially bought this for our toddler's bathroom so she didn't have to turn on the lights if she ever needed to use the restroom in the middle of the night. But it wasn't as sensitive to her tiny hands waving at it when the lights turned off after a few mins. So we moved it elsewhere and brought other lights for her bathroom.
