The Best Dry Screen Application Screen Protector For The S8+ So Far
I have tried the wet screen application screen protectors (IQShield and Skinomi) and one other dry screen application screen protector (iTurbos). The wet screen application ones were difficult to work with to create a completely dust free installation. The struggle with these was that dust/particles would inevitably sneak under the edges while waiting for the flat portion to dry for 15-20 minutes. Getting the dust/particles from the wet screen ones proved to be extremely difficult as they stick very well to the protector. The iTurbos was terrible and did not stick very well at all. There were bubbles all over the place constantly. This one by Dendrobates seemed to finally hit the mark for me. The most important aspect of this screen protector is that I was able to easily lift it back up during installation repeatedly. This allowed me to use tape to remove any dust/particles that snuck under. You can search up videos on YouTube of this screen protector to see people actually installing it and demonstrating how you can easily lift it back up repeatedly as needed. It came with an alignment tool that was helpful. I will say that despite using it, it did not align perfectly. The screen protector is shifted to the left very, very slightly. I put on my Spigen case and could tell that the protector was shifted left very slightly. As a result, I do not want to use my case with it due to fear of the case pushing up on the edges. I will be using a dbrand skin to prevent scratches to the back instead.I worked very slowly and patiently with the included squeegee tool and my fingers to push air bubbles out. After I was done, I put up a pure white background on my display to check for dust/particles. There were none. Due to being able to lift up the protector and putting it back down repeatedly, I was able to achieve the perfect installation that I wanted. I was finally able to get a guaranteed dust/particle free screen protector installation.Things to note:This is NOT tempered glass. As the title says, it is apparently a "hybrid soft glass." Based on how it feels and my observations, I do NOT think this screen protector will save your phone display from shattering if you drop it. However, it's not like other wet TPU or dry PET screen protectors would either. Only tempered glass can protect your phone display from shattering. However, if you've been researching, there are a whole host of issues with tempered glass. Namely, it seems that all tempered glass with the exception of the Whitedome do not use full adhesive. They only use adhesive on the edges so the flat portion of the tempered glass does not make contact well with the display (creating touch screen sensitivity issues). I have not used the Whitedome myself but by seeing it on YouTube, it is a full adhesive tempered glass installation. The problem is that the Whitedome one is very expensive. In addition, you only get one shot at a tempered glass installation (if any dust/particles get under by accident, you're toast). You can't lift up tempered glass off a phone without damaging the tempered glass screen protector very slightly, creating an air bubble forever under the area you had to start lifting the glass off from the phone. This is why I avoid tempered glass since I am looking for a perfectly dust/particle free application. The texture is smooth. It is not as smooth as the naked glass of the display of course. As for the black borders, the top and bottom ones make no difference visibly on my black S8+. However, the side black borders technically do obscure the edge of the display where they are. For me personally, the side black borders are so minuscule that it does not appear to be an issue when looking at the phone straight on. If I observe my phone from the very sides, then I can see the black side borders blocking the display. If you're not prone to dropping your phone, then I think that this screen protector + a dbrand skin will be the perfect combination to have a phone protected from the possibility of scratches (It only takes one bad luck moment of sand making contact with your display and rubbing to create a scratch that will never go away). If you do get the alignment absolutely perfect, then it's likely a case would work with this screen protector. It seemed to with my Spigen case but I did not want to take the risk of pushing up the edge.Sorry for the long-winded review but I hope this helps anyone else who has been searching for a protector that works well that you can guarantee a dust/particle free installation.Lastly, the edges. The edges seem to be sticking very well so far. I will return to update this review if I encounter the edges lifting over the coming weeks or any other issues. So far though, this screen protector seems to be a winner for me.Update 1 12/16/17 - Decided to drop it from 5 to 4 stars. The screen protector is an absolute magnet for fingerprints. More frequent cleaning has helped but it is a negative.

Attempting to put on a case was useless and a waste of time
Pros: Installation is relatively straight forward, as the 'kit' provides a slip in adapter for the phones power plug at the bottom of the phone, and then the screen protector's bottom attaches to the adapter to provide 'alignment, with a caveat.Cons: 1.Caveat - Even with the alignment adapter and attaching the screen protector to it, the two screen protectors I received were too long for the phone. So if I set by the adapter, at the bottom of the phone, with the adapter holding the screen protector, and aligning to the bottom edge of the phone, when getting to the top of the phone, laying down the screen protector covered over the top speaker and sensor, even though there is a cut out for both the phone speaker and sensor on the screen protector. If I aligned the screen protector from the top down, leaving the speaker and right of speaker sensor uncovered, which seemed the 'perfect' fit, the bottom of the screen protector was about 3/16" too long for the phone. remember, the top and bottom of this phone are not curved. So I found if I trimmed the bottom off, I could get a fit, though still not 'perfect', having trimmed the black ridge glue portion away. It is not pocket friendly, and with a Spigen case, the lower portion corners lifted right up. Leaving the other protector un-trimmed the bottom portion with any sheering touch to the bottom edge will lift the film. Attempting to put on a case was useless and a waste of time.On to look for other possibilities.2. This screen protector collects finger prints/oils like crazy, unlike any screen protector I've seen ever/in the last 10-15 years.

Hands down the best screen protector option for the Galaxy S8+
I recently upgraded from a Galaxy S7 Edge to an S8+, and based on my previous experience with the S7 Edge and curved screens - I had a feeling I was in for another headache trying to find a decent screen protector for my new phone. On my last phone, I ended up settling for a "wet" type screen protector - and while far from perfect, it was the best option at the time.Fast forward to getting my S8+, the first protector I ordered was a "wet" type one, but unfortunately the particular one I chose wasn't very good and ended up peeling up in the corners. After reading some reviews on XDA for the Dendrobates flexible screen and seeing some Youtube video reviews, I decided to give it a try.Wow, can I say I am impressed. This is one of the nicest screen protectors I have ever used. I was a huge fan of tempered glass in the past, but with curved phones they are practical useless, and standard PET film has issues as well on the curves. This "hybrid" material is definitely thicker than standard PET film - but very flexible and workable unlike tempered glass. It sort of reminds me of the advanced Rhinoshield protectors that used to be available (but don't seem to be around anymore). The nice thing is that it comes with 2 protectors (I got mine right on the first try luckily). They also give a guide to help with the application - and it may help some people, but honestly I found it easier to do it without. But kudos to the vendor for at least providing it.Once on, it's very clear and my finger slides nicely without any resistance. I'm also using it with a RIngke Fusion case, and I have had absolutely zero issues with the corners or sides coming up like with other protectors I tried. All in all, this I think is hands down the best screen protector option for the SGS 8+ (and 8), and too bad there wasn't the same flexible glass option for my old S7 Edge!

currently shopping for a better quality screen protector
Get what you pay for I suppose .. doesn't fit properly, if lined up at the bottom it doesn't line up with your top holes.. bubbles come back after about 2 hours being installed, sides lift ... just cheap quality .. currently shopping for a better quality screen protector!
