Q: I searched for gore-tex jackets and this listing came up. is it a gore-tex jacket or not?

The label says “Gore Windstopper “.The Shell is 100%Nylon, the backer and lining is 100% Polyester. It is not a heavy jacket. Hope this helps.

We do have that jacket in Women's sizes, I am happy to help you with it I do have that sub alpine pattern as well it is sized S,M,L,XL,XXL, etc... What size would you normally wear in womens.
