Teak Shower Table: Jakarta Corner Spa Table

We really liked this teak bench for our shower, but for the price I would hope the stain finish wouldn't run, and the wood wouldn't crack. We are so sad that this isn't well made, and that the coloring is staining our new shower. I can also see small cracks all along the wood now. It's supposed to be a shower table, but can't hold up to being in a water environment.

I am not really sure that this shower stand is really meant to be exposed to water on a daily basis. The finish is not looking great and there are white areas where the finish is water logged. I like the practicality of it but the appearance is not great now that we have had it about a year. I am skeptical that the wood is teak but I don't really have a way to prove that.

Beautiful piece! Very sturdy. Perfect shower stall corner seat. Looks great! Since i just got it, I cant comment on durability.

It's a beautiful wood corner bench. It was very easy to assemble, it took 10 minutes. When placed in the shower, but it feels like it would tip over if I placed anything on it. I definitely wouldn't use it as an actual sitting bench. It needs an extra leg under the base to prevent tipping.

I bought this product for my husband to sit on as well as for the aesthetics and storage. I have this in my shower and I love the quality of the product however, I wish it was sealed and it could use a center piece/leg to avoid tipping over if weight is put on the front of the table.

Nice finish, easy to assemble but tips over easily.

Nice piece, it's not great for a shaving stool it tends to fall forward if I don't put do foot far enough to the beach to hold out on please.

Shelf on the bottom is put to good use. Looks very good in the shower.
