Not lightweight-
Well made but HEAVY- very heavy. This is NOT a lightweight duvet and while was under the impression from reviews this would get me through the southern summer it isn’t going to happen. Honestly it weighs a ton trying to make the bed….

Great winter or decorative blanket
I understand the intent is to put a duvet cover on this but it’s beautiful as is so I decided not to cover it. It’s very soft and comfortable on the skin. It is thick so if you run warm it may not be for you. Even as a decorative blanket it’s excellent. Gives sort of a comfy hotel vibe which is nice. There was a bit of chemical smell upon arrival but after a wash and a week of airing out it smells fine now. It is so big that you’d only want to wash it by itself due to space
