Perfect for flower bulb protection.
Ok, these are not just for gutters. I bought these for my Mom's flower garden. She lives in Washington, and has voles, moles, and other flower bulb loving critters. These will be a "Basket" for the bulb during planting. These are made of corrosion resistant aluminum. The weave is small enough to prevent chewing, but big enough for roots to grow out, and spread. I used 2 zipties to close up the sides, plus bent the upper, and bottom edges over together. I hope this gives you a great idea for flower bulb protection.

Nicecly made, easy to use, nice price in bulk, quick delivery. I didn't actually need 12, but cost less than buying 6 at the hardware store.

easy to adapt to your needs
Works very well, you overlap them to fit just about any gutter and drain pipe. I was a little concerned as mine house has the square drain pipes, but the confirm very well. As the pack i bought had 12 and I have 6 drains its one for the top and k e for the bottom, stop the leaves and sludge blocking the pipe and anything from crawling up.
