Lead free solder wire is just good to have in your arsenal for soldering. I use it because lead free just makes sense. Nice and thin for circuit boards this stuff is perfect for the application.

I found lead free solder very hard to make good connections and stay where I wanted it to. Even with flux I couldn't get it to work for me. I went back to lead based solder, and added a good ventilation system.

This stuff was nearly impossible to use for my project, but that's because I had never soldered anything before and tried to solder 1mm contacts on my first try. Anyway it did work in the end. It's good to have patience.

Works great . For really small solder jobs.

I like the brightness of the silver color and it's light weight. I am using this to soft solder gemstones.
