

Our Special Toffee has been one of our signature confections since 1925, when Stanley Thornton finally perfected his recipe on the 50th attempt. Little has changed today: we still base our recipe on the original. We make our toffee in careful batches and leave it to cool for 24 hours to intensify that glorious buttery flavour. We don’t call it 'Special' for nothing.
