With a straight forward, user friendly and highly intuitive design the Esstac single KYWI mag pouch is like no other. Utilizing a hybrid kydex and nylon design, you get all the rigidity you would expect from a kydex pouch and the lack of noise you want from a nylon pouch. These pouches feature our kydex wedge insert (KYWI) that provide the needed retention to secure your magazines without the need for bungee cord for rapid mag changes. This pouch features laser cut direct sewn one-wrap hook and loop straps for Horizontal mounting. Straps are 6″ long and will work on most 1.75″-2.25″ belts. While these are made to interface with outer belts that have hook fastener on the inner side, they will also work on hook and loop lined belts but will not be locked down for side to side shifting.Note: There are 4 rows of webbing on the back of the pouch. You only use the Top 3 rows of webbing when mounting (not 4).

Great piece of gear
This is the best mag holder I've used yet. Holds the mags tightly but not too tight. Fits great on the belt. I highly recommend this

Perfect
Perfect for my needs. I got a combo of short and med-length for different belt set ups. All work perfect. All durable. All with great retention. All quite. Best product in the market in my opinion, but make sure you understand what you're looking for before buying.

Best Mag Pouches on the Market
I run an Esstac Kywi placard on my SWAT vest and this allows me to run an identical pouch on my belt for emergency reloads.Lightweight. Perfect retention. SUPER fast reloads. Easy reinsertion. Fairly quiet insertion/extraction.Esstac KYWI's are absolutely the best mag pouches anywhere. I've used everything from GI double stacks, GI pouches with elastic tops, elastic pouches, tacos, to hard kydex - you name it I've probably tried it. These are the best of all worlds. Biggest con is they're a little louder on the reload than some others - but by that point I'm probably not to worried about the sound of a mag sliding against the kydex (not to mention the sound of the bolt slamming home on an AR15 is much louder).ONLY other pouch that is even remotely comparable is the Agilite Pincer. Also a very good pouch that manages to have a lot of the same characteristics. Only complaint from me is the Agilite elastic is very tight, making them a little slower on the draw - I have mine loaded trying to stretch them out some - if they break in some the Esstac and Agilite would be 1A/1B.

It's Esstac. Its good.
A little tight on PMAGs but perfect on Surefeeds or GI style mags.

well made
Well made and looks good, but its retention is excessive for my use case.

Would buy again.
I like these mag pouches a lot. I bought two and used them last weekend and they performed well. They seem very durable. The only annoying thing is I was using Pmags and these pouches really grab onto them, it was hard to pull out of the pouch sometimes. Hopefully they will break in and keep holding firm while allowing me to pull them out a little more smoothly. Only complaint, which I hope will work itself out. I bought a couple 9mm pouches too and they held firm but allowed smooth pulls, but I was using OEM mags for that. So maybe its Pmags I dunno, will test more and use diff mags.

Best Mag pouches on the market!
Its exactly what you expect from Esstac, great quality and functionality. I have multiple other mag pouches from Esstac and they all work wonderfully, so when I was needing a couple single pouches and found that I could get them on Amazon for the same price with faster shipping, I jumped at it. FYI they can double as an excellent cellphone holster as well. Only downside to ordering from Amazon is that you can't get the WTFix straps with them like you can on Esstac's website.
