Q: Measurement from house floor to cage floor?

The crate sits 2 1/4 inches off the floor. Basically the size of the castor. The bottom frame is designed to hold the tray, but I have chosen to move the tray up one level into the bottom of the crate. That distance is 5 1/4 inches off the floor. I chose to do this because I don’t want my dog walking on the open framework of the crate. Hope this helps.

Q: What type of water bowl can be attached to this heavy duty, thick, metal?

Since I only use the crate for limited periods of time, I do not put a bowl in it. Sorry I can’t be helpful.

Q: Can the tray fit inside the crate to cover the slats of the floor? How wide are the spaces between the slats of the floor? Thanks in advance!

No, the tray will not fit inside. The slats are wide - over an inch of open space between them. I would not use it for anything smaller than a Golden retriever for fear the feet might get caught.
