8Bitdo Retro Receiver Classic Mini for SNES Classic and NES Classic (Bluetooth) (Electronic Games)

I always found the biggest problem with my smallest console was the short cables for the supplied controllers, placing me uncomfortably close to the TV - a 55in screen at 3ft isn't the easiest to take in.This Bluetooth adapter from 8bitdo connects with my Switch Pro Controller with ease and I'm now able to sit a reasonable distance from the TV. Having been used to an Xbox controller for the past 20 years, the Switch Pro is very similar and a much more ergonomic choice which makes enjoying the classics much more fun - Super Mario World, Super Metroid et al, are given a new lease of life and I get to relive my childhood

This makes it possible to ditch those short controller wires (even shorter wires on the NES Mini). I have used it with a 8bitdo SN30 controller, 8bitdo NES30 controller and a 8bitdo Arcade Stick.It is important to update the firmware straight away using the ultimate software or download the firmware updater onto a computer. For the computer to see it, it is necessary to press the pairing button when at the same time connect the adaptor. The software will show it is a retro receiver and the latest firmware will be installed. Once that is done it will work perfectly. It is also important to update any 8bitdo controller firmware's too.

Easy to setup for most controllers works with the Wii U pro controller, and with the PS3 DualShock 3 although for this I required to follow some extra steps.

Forgets pair with controller when switched off

Works great. I did need to update the firmware of both this adapter and my Bluetooth SNES pad before they would connect. So if you're having any connectivity issues be sure to check your firmware.

Immensely frustrating waste of money and time. Tried to connect PS4 and Wii u controller which are both supposedly "compatible" and after hours of trying could not get either controller to connect. Very upset as I bought a brand new Wii u pro controller specifically to be used with the receiver. Am chasing a bit do for reimbursement of the controller as their website says specifically it is compatible.

lo adquiri para mi mini super nes, y la verdad funciono muy bien ; se conecto sin problema con mis controles de ps4, y funciona muy bien.tiene un detalle solo si te alejas mas alla de la distancia recomendada por el fabricante, donde se puede desincronizar el control, pero para mi es un problema minimo, por lo regular estoy a 3 metros de mi consola, y funciona perfecto.

J'apréhendais un peu à causes de certains commentaires mais dans mon cas tout a fonctionné:Pour la mini nes classic tout ce qui suit fonctionne parfaitement: wiiu PRO, sn30 pro 8bitdo, manette nes classique branché sur une wiimote donc la wiimote aussi et le stick arcade 8bitdo.Comme ça je peux y jouer sans fils avec la manette d'origine grace à une wiimote ^^Ce qui m'a le plus bluffé, c'est l'appairage: en fait c'est comme sur une console d'origine, on appui sur le bouton du dongle, le bonton de la manette et c'est fait.Je recommande à 200% car il remplie toutes les configuration que je demande.

He comprado este receptor para usarlo con una SNES Classic (junto con el mando SN30 Pro de 8BitDo), y funciona a la perfección.Antes de usarlo, actualicé el firmware de ambos componentes. El emparejamiento fue rápido y sencillo, y el conjunto funciona a la perfección. Muy satisfecho.
