Haven't had these for that long but they seem to do what they're supposed to: take something out of the toaster. At first I was concerned because it looked like the opening was narrower than the old one I'd had for many years but as I started using the tongs, I saw that there's no problem with toast, frozen waffles, bagels, etc. : takes them all out of the toaster slot without squishing them. The bamboo is smooth & nicely finished (no rough edges or splinters). As time goes by, I'll see if they hold up and don't fall apart.

These are very handy! I bought two and keep them by the toaster. They have spared me from burns on my finger tips from reaching for my toast once it pops up. It also saves me from dropping my toast. They seem sturdy and we’re at a great price.

Needed some new toaster tongs since my last pair accidently got thrown away. These are a tiny bit flimsy, and the opening a little small. There are also wood splinters near the top inside the closure which makes them look a little cheap, but overall, they're great for the price and purpose.

So handy and so reasonably priced. They work for other things besides toast too. Great purchase in every way. Great gift too.

I use these to remove toast from my toaster.
