Couchmaster CYBOT, Premium Ergonomic Lap Desk for Notebooks, Sustainable Bamboo Construction, Kevlar Cushion Front, Ventilated Design, Fits Up to 17-Inch Laptops

I previously had a cheap folding metal lap desk to use my laptop in bed. It was never very good. There was no place for my mouse and it was awkward to get in and out of bed once set up. Once I accidentally stepped on it and broke one of the legs, I knew it was time for a replacement. This is the lap desk I didn't know I needed. I took a chance based on reviews and I'm glad I did. It ships in three pieces, two foam side supports and a generous wood work surface. This makes it very easy to set up and take down, though it will take up a fair amount of room when stored. It fits under a bed just fine, though. The vent holes allow plenty of circulation for a gaming laptop, there's plenty of space for a mouse, and the slit at the top right is perfect for your phone or tablet. Most importantly, it sits at a comfortable height that greatly reduces wrist, neck, and arm strain (YMMV depending on your size).

I have a horrible back, and I work best from a bed. This was an impulse purchase for me, willing to try it, and if it didn’t work out, return it. It comes with three main pieces. The two side pieces need to air out overnight to expand properly. The main heavier piece is the meant to go on top of the side pieces, with you inbetween. I thought the idea of it was stupid at first, but I gave it a try and almost immediately realized its utility. It’s like a fully functional desk, with room for a laptop, keyboard, and mouse. It also frees up your lap, and there’s still plenty of space to move your legs around. I have a 13” and 16” laptop and both work perfectly fine on this desk, with plenty of room for a mouse. You can slide it forward and backward to get in and out of it. Just make sure you have a non-slip mousepad (or use the one included) as the wooden top is a bit slippery. The two sides are pretty well made. They can be vacuumed, are light enough to carry (albeit a bit bulky), and have so far survived eight cats. If you’re worried about size, it is possible to use this on a queen size bed with a bed mate. It does take up a little more than half the bed width. With a king size, this thing should be no problem. Overall, I recommend this product for its usefulness and attention to quality materials.

I spend most of free time sitting in front of a computer either playing games, writing code, or do one of the other myriad of hobbies I have that requires a computer. I was tired of spending all of my time sitting at my desk and wanted something that was comfortable and gave me enough room to sit on my couch while doing things on my laptop. Over the years I have owned a lot of lap desks and this is by far the best one. That being said it is not perfect. One of my side cushions didn't quite raise to the same level as my other side. It isn't super noticeable when using the desk but it is when looking at the cushions. I even took the case off both cushions and steamed them and that did help inflate them but it looks like one side just wasn't cut to the same height as the other because they are both fully inflated. I am still happy with the desk and plan on keeping it regardless of this issue, but be aware this isn't an uncommon problem with this desk. The only other minor complaint I have is it's kind of a pain to get both cushions situated, then set the desktop on it and adjust when I recline my couch. It's not a deal breaker, it only takes 1-2 minutes to do but if you get up and down a good amount it becomes kind of tedious. Obviously, there isn't much they can do about that problem, its the nature of the design, but if you are someone that gets up from the couch constantly it might be something to consider.

The couchmaster is a horribly named ugly monstrosity that I absolutely love. I want to be able to sit with my family at night when I'm playing games on my computer. For this reason I switched to a laptop gaming computer years ago, but have never found a great solution for using it on the couch. Gaming laptops are big heavy beasts. Mine has a big ole cooling fan under it, and then I want a good amount of space to use a mouse next to it. Basic laptop tables just didn't cut it, until I found the couchmaster! This thing is so basic but it's just want I need. You get two big solid foam arm/table rests. Nothing special but they are sturdy and comfy enough. You get a big ole slab of well crafted wood with some vent holes in it. And thats it! foam and wood. But it works great in it's simlicity. Since it's three separate pieces it easily breaks down for storage when not in use and just sits next to the couch. Once you get used to it, it's pretty easy to get in and out of. I think it's way overpriced for what it is. But it's the only thing out there like it. It's well crafted, and it works. I'm happy to pay the premium if it checks those last two boxes. If you want something like I describe above look no further

Like the product design and cooling slots. Comfortable and great size. Customer service, not so much. Why have me return a broken product and wait to ship out a new board until split one is received?? Why not send out a new board immediately?? For the price I expected better service. I order for my 2nd residence, went back and forth with customer service over the issue. Still not resolved, and now I am back at my primary residence, while the product is at my secondary, since I had to go back home after 10 days of trying to have a new board shipped

I like this product and it's the only product that has a smart design for the purpose of creating a laptop desk in locations such as a couch. I really contemplated giving this a 4 star or 5 star review based on price. Why I came to the conclusion that the price fit the product is that the company strives to deliver a premium product. A premium product does indeed include a premium price and given the option of purchasing a sub $100 product with cheaper materials, I would purchase this product. That being said, I believe they would broaden their market by providing a $99 reduced quality option. The tabletop is comfortable and inherently expandable to fit almost any sized user. The first step, upon opening the product is to steam iron the cushions. I did this and appreciated the sleek look and feel that was achieved. The product is ergonomically built and therefore comfortable to use. The laptop by design does feel a little to the left than is normally comfortable but does not kill the overall value. The top is solid and premium, very sturdy and feels good in the hand and on the lap. The cushions appear well designed, sturdy, and should hold up well for years of use. Overall happy with the purchase.

The lap desk table is a great product, and nothing else I have found comes close to matching it. It's comfortable, flexible, and well-designed. What's even better than the product is the great customer support; they fully stand behind their product and are interested in the customer experience. Sadly, that seems to be increasingly rare nowadays. This product is definitely worth owning.

It's not bad. It's just very overpriced for what you're getting. 2 foam squares and a wood platform with some slightly convienent slots cutt in. It's nice idea or a start however having to move the stuff around all the time can be a bit inconvienent when you gota get up. And definitely not alot of space in between or above. It's a good thing I'm skinny and don't have huge legs otherwise you might struggle. All in all it's not a bad product it's just a bit high priced for what your getting. It be the same of just have a slab of wood and throwing your shit on there. Honestly you don't even need the foams at that point can just lay the thing on your lap still works about the same. Product should definitely be cheaper tho.

Had major neck and back problems sitting for long durations of time. Now.... No pain, extreme comfort good installation and good quality Thanks guys

The cushions aren't attached to the board and there is no way to attach them but this is an amazing product otherwise from that as I thought they were connected from the photos

J’ai récemment testé le Couchmaster Cybot, et je dois dire que c’est une solution vraiment pratique pour ceux qui veulent jouer ou travailler depuis leur canapé. Dès le déballage, on sent la qualité des matériaux : les coussins sont bien rembourrés et stables, et la surface de travail est suffisamment large pour accueillir un clavier et une souris sans problème. J’ai particulièrement apprécié les poches latérales, parfaites pour ranger des accessoires comme des câbles ou une manette.
