UniBond No More Nails On A Roll
**Review: UniBond No More Nails On A Roll – A Handy Solution with a Few Considerations** After using UniBond No More Nails On A Roll for several small projects around the house, I’d say it’s a solid product with a lot of potential — though it’s not perfect in every scenario. **Quality-wise**, the tape feels well-made and durable. It’s thick enough to handle light to medium loads without tearing or stretching, and it comes with a protective backing that peels off cleanly. As for whether it **falls off**, that really depends on the surface and weight of the item you're sticking. On smooth, clean surfaces like tile or painted drywall, it sticks well and holds firm for smaller objects. However, heavier items or textured surfaces may weaken the bond over time. It's definitely not a one-size-fits-all solution, but it holds impressively well when used within its limits. When it comes to **solidity and holding power**, it's reliable for lighter items such as hooks, photo frames, cable clips, and small decorations. I've had a few items mounted for weeks with no slipping or signs of strain. Just don’t expect it to support anything too heavy — it’s strong, but not industrial-strength. **Appearance-wise**, it's discreet. Since it’s hidden behind whatever you’re sticking, there's no visible mess or residue. The finish is clean, which is great if you're going for a minimal or damage-free look. In terms of **value for money**, it’s quite fair. One roll goes a surprisingly long way, especially when you're cutting it to size. Compared to drilling holes or buying hardware, this is a cost-effective alternative for quick jobs. **Ease of cleaning** is a mixed bag. If you remove the tape carefully, it doesn’t leave much residue, but on some surfaces, especially painted walls, it can take a bit of the finish with it. A little adhesive remover helps if you’re dealing with leftover stickiness. I’d recommend testing a small area first if you're unsure. **Overall**, UniBond No More Nails On A Roll is a convenient and practical option for light-duty jobs. It won’t replace screws for heavy items, but for quick fixes or decorative use, it saves time, looks tidy, and gets the job done with minimal fuss.

Better than expected
This tape was purchased to stick a blind up to cover a doors glass and the 3m stuff supplied was not suitable. When it arrived I noticed it didn't feel overly sticky, but maybe I'm missing the point as it's actually got an iron grip dispite this which is great but doesn't really make sense to me. Point is it works the blind which isn't light has been stuck in place for a few weeks now and even if I pull on it there's no movement so I'm very happy. Tape thickness is decent. Was easy to fit although I used the edge of a knife to remove the red peal, and as I said it's very strong. A great purchase and a great price, saved me having to drill holes in a new door frame.

UniBond No More Nails On A Roll, Double-Sided Tape
As a seasoned DIY enthusiast, I've encountered my fair share of 'quick fixes' that promise much but deliver little. So, it was with a healthy dose of skepticism that I approached UniBond's No More Nails On A Roll. This double-sided tape claims to offer reliable instant bonding for a multitude of surfaces, both indoors and outdoors. After putting it through its paces, here's my detailed review. First Impressions: The packaging is robust and gives off a professional vibe. The roll itself is a standard size, measuring 19mm x 1.5m, which is ample for several projects before needing a replacement. The tape feels sturdy and has a significant weight to it, suggesting a quality product. Ease of Use: The application process is straightforward. The tape peels off the roll easily, and the adhesive is exposed without any fuss. It sticks to surfaces upon contact, and there's no need for any additional tools or preparation, which is a huge plus for quick tasks. Adhesive Quality: I tested the tape on various materials, including wood, plastic, and metal, and found the adhesive strength to be impressive. It holds well, even under strain, and there's no sign of peeling or weakening over time. The bond it forms is strong enough for most household tasks, and it's reassuring to know that it can withstand some weight. Versatility: The product is marketed as suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, and it lives up to this claim. I used it to secure an outdoor light fixture and to mount a soap dispenser in the bathroom. In both scenarios, the tape held up admirably, showing no signs of wear due to weather or moisture. Removal: One of the key concerns with any adhesive product is the potential damage upon removal. I found that while the tape does not leave significant residue, it requires some care when removing to avoid damage to the surface, especially if it's delicate or painted. Conclusion: UniBond's No More Nails On A Roll is a reliable and versatile product that stands up to its claims. It's a great addition to any toolbox for those quick fixes where traditional nails or screws would be overkill or impractical. I've deducted one star due to the need for careful removal, but otherwise, it's a product I'd recommend to fellow DIYers. Would I repurchase? Absolutely. It's earned its place as a staple in my DIY arsenal. Whether you're a professional handyman or a casual home improver, this tape is worth considering for your next project.

Great product
Perfect for my panelling project after trying the glue-which was terrible. Tricky to get the tape off but tweezers helped! Two rolls for the project.

Easy to use, however....
It's very easy to use which is the advantage to this. I found it will stick well to some surfaces and struggle to stay on other type surfaces, generally works better with the non textured surface overall. I bought a no nails adhesive before this and it lived up to its name, infact I couldn't get anything back off the wall! This one is good as items can be removed or adjusted afterwards, however the items I placed up fell down or came apart, no matter what surface was used. These weren't heavier than the last ones, infact they were far lighter. For me personally, I like this as a double sided sticky tape for office/ art projects as ideal and better than the usual double sided adhesives for projects within those type catergories, for what it's intended purpose is however, would be of no use to me

Great adhesive properties but prep is all in making sure that it lasts
We have used this brand of double sided tape in the past and we now buy it from Amazon, being much cheaper here than we can buy it elsewhere. Our best success when using this brand, others we have tried have failed over time in peeling off, is the preparation of the surfaces, NOT touching the adhesive tape when the backing is removed, and carefully applying the object to stick into position, with no movements when contact is made, and press firmly for a couple of minutes when contact is made. In the case of a towel rail, even a toilet roll holder, we leave them for a full 24 hours before use. I have used this tape to stick a wipe board onto our garage wall but I did need to apply a diluted PVA mix to the wall and leave that to dry for 24 hours before sticking up the wipe board, the wall was "dusty" to the touch. It has been perfect and in place for a very long time, the temps in there can range from below freezing to a very high heat in summer. In the bathroom both a towel rail, trust me our grandchildren are not the most gentle when they drag the towel of it, and the toilet roll holder have been held in place for months and are perfectly fine. That is in a high humid room on gloss flat tiles. If you wish to remove items that have been stuck in place in with this we have done it by gently warming up the object, in this example a metal toilet roll holder, and whilst using the hair dryer to heat it up we then used a butter knife to carefully and slowly push the flat of the blade between the sticky, and now quite warm, adhesive pads and the tiled wall and break that seal. When it has come off then still applying gentle heat to assist removing the old pads from the toilet roll holder, I used a plastic bladed ice scraper we used for a freezer defrost, and then some methylated spirit to clean it up after. We also use some meths on the surface of the tiles to give them a clean where it was going to be repositioned. So in all I recommend this brand of double backed tape. But, as noted, prep and patience is the key to having a good and lasting bond. Ease of use I have only rated as 3. That is due, in part, to the amount of care needed in the prep for it to be successful but mainly due to a great deal of care MUST be taken when you are removing the backing off the tape that you do NOT touch it, doing so will reduce the quality of the adhesion. I hope that this review has helped you...? Best wishes

Absolute rubbish
Bought to secure a light plywood panel, weight around 2kg to a wall. Used two full rolls of this stuff. Held it in place, so it could grip, for nearly five minutes. Fell straight off. Both surfaces were clean and free from dust and debris. Ended up using some Velcro strips for about £2. Don’t know if this was old stock or something but it had no adhesive properties/ worse than sellotape. Avoid.

Working well
My son in law used this tape to put up up some wall hangings on my kitchen wall. The wall hangings are light in weight but they are holding very well. I didn't want to put in nail holes or anything permanent since I may want to change my decorative hangings in the future.
