This is probably the most comfortable mouth tape I've had and I can open my mouth and break the seal easily though this won't happen naturally. It will hold strong without effort as I sleep. Also, the strips are scored so little strips can be broken off that are good enough for the job. I almost always got to get up at least once in the night to get a drink among other things. I generally can take this tape off and put it back on and it usually still has enough adhesion. So if it is budgeted right, the length should last about 2 months. Some people find this useful to reduce snoring and some are disappointed that it doesn't work so well to that end. That is not the primary benefit of mouth taping for sleep. Mouth taping eliminates mouth breathing at night and forces nasal breathing. The primary benefit of nasal breathing is the increase of nitric oxide production which expands the blood vessels which increases oxygenation and nourishment of everything in the body. I've noticed a huge difference in quality of sleep since mouth taping. Even when I've torn the tape off in the middle of the night and didn't replace it, I felt more rested in the morning. If you have obstructive issues in breathing, a deviated septum, and/or snoring, this might be risky for you and you should not proceed without discussing it with your doctor. Otherwise, I highly recommend this, it will be a great benefit to your quality of sleep and overall health. It does not seem the best quantity for the dollar for mouth tapes. There is at least one other brand out there that sells 90 pieces of mouth tape which can potentially last 90 nights. Those are not silicone though but micropore white tape. They are not as comfortable but much better than the heavily advertised "Hostage Tape" of social media adds which hurt when torn off. I will be looking at a 3 pack of 5 yards of silicone medical tape perforated at one inch for double the price also sold on this site. That should be above and beyond multiples of quantity for the same unit price for larger pieces of tape. It'd be better with a tighter perforations to allow smaller sizes and would last even longer, but that is worth looking into which I am doing next. Nevertheless, thus far, this brand here has been the best for me and I would highly recommend it for now.

After hearing about mouth taping multiple times on social media I mostly brushed it off, thinking it sounded really uncomfortable. All I could think of was that scene in the Matrix where Neo can't get his mouth open. But one night I thought what the heck, and I used painter's tape to do a light taping before going to sleep. It felt like hitting a switch of some kind, and for me, it was very comforting to feel my mouth not hanging open as soon as I relaxed into sleep. I slept a full night of sleep immediately, which is rare for me. So I ordered this product thinking it would be gentle and effective. Once I have it on, I barely even think about it. It took zero getting used to because my body immediately liked the comfort of it. I have many issues that make it difficult to sleep through the night, but at least now, my mouth hanging open, dry mouth, drooling, snoring - those are not waking me up. I had low expectations, but I'm definitely sold. Having not compared this product to any other except painter's tape (which was fine, actually) this product feels very gentle, leaves no residue, tears easily, comes off easily, and once it's on I barely even know it's there.

It works well it’s not too sticky, but it’s sticky enough to stay on the main problem I have is it does not tear easily so I have to use scissors to cut it so the perforations where it’s supposed to tear are not the adequate so that’s my only complaint about this type other than that it’s good

I was skeptical of this product at first because of the wide range of reviews. But after using it I would say it was a worthwhile purchase. One of the criticisms I saw in the reviews is that it's not wide enough to cover the entire mouth. In my experience though, it's effective even if it doesn't cover the whole mouth. The key is to apply it vertically instead of horizontally. Another commenter mentioned that the adhesive isn't good at sticking to skin. In my opinion, if it's not sticking it's probably because your skin is very oily. Just wipe away the excess oils with a wet cloth and you should be good. The tape is perforated which makes tearing off the desired length convenient and easy. It doesn't leave any residue on your face. Be aware that if you move around a lot in your sleep and your face rubs against the pillow or your hands or something, the tape might come off. Otherwise, the tape is able to hold its position throughout your sleep. Overall, I'd recommend this product. I even bought another one in advance for when my current roll runs out.

The strips are sticky without being overly adhering to skin: they come off smoothly in the morning after sticking securely all night. I find that the highly stretchy texture makes them a little hard to tear off, but they have multiple perforations so you can pick what size you need. It's relatively thin and highly comfortable, there's no icky plastic smell like other tapes, and it seems to be of good quality. This is definitely my favorite type of tape for this!

This tape does not stay on as I expected.

Recently started sleeping with my mouth open sometimes and purchased this specifically for the plane. Legit did the trick on my 10 hour flight and another 3 hour flight. Stayed in place, has good texture to adhere to the mouth but personally found it isn’t uncomfortable to remove also. Love!

Nice mouth tape. Much cheaper than ready-cut strips, and promotes nose breathing with only a small section needed.
