Really Does the Job AND NO HARMFUL FUMES…
My bathroom basin was really looking bad, so a year or so ago, I had it sprayed painted by someone. It turned out nice, however, the only color available was white and my basin is a beige color. Well, the paint started to chip again, so I decided to go online and see what I could find to do myself. My, the prices were extremely high for a lot of the repair kits. Then I found this wonderful product that came in several different colors and very easy to use. I loved that it could be painted on using a brush or roller. The finishing is GREAT; just need to wait and see how long the paint will stay without chipping.

Make sure you select the right color. I thought I ordered white but I accidentally ordered blue.
I disliked that the color choice is wrote very small on the container. I accidentally purchased blue. I assumed it would "harden" and dry white but shockingly it did not. It went on very well and easy and covered excellent. I did not want to start over and painted with white over top but it took 3 containers to do that. I'm not sure if painting over the existing is what caused the chipping but it's already chipping in places. I'm sure with proper technique and getting it right the first time it's a great product and does the job. I unfortunately did not and spent a decent chunk on fixing it.

No regrets!
Update at 1 year, 4 months - the paint still looks awesome!! Very glad I did this. Original review - I have no regrets using this paint. If you are considering buying this paint to hide your ugly shower, here are my thoughts: 1. The results are not going to be your “dream shower.” This won’t look like a factory finish. But, if you have some basic painting skills, it will turn out pretty nice. I’m very happy I did it! 2. The prep is no joke. I bought a hand sander and I’m grateful I did. It took a long time to prep properly and I spent a lot of time reading reviews and googling. 3. If you have a lot of grout and/or dark-colored tiles, plan on buying a lot of paint. I needed four layers of paint which for me was 2.5 cans. Also - if you’re doing grout, first paint it with a brush before moving to a roller. 4. Don’t assume it will be easy. It took me 2.5 days for prep, tape, giving lots of dry time, and painting carefully so I didn’t have streaks and paint drops. I then waited well over a week before using the shower. Can you do it faster? Sure, but the results may show in your speed unless you’re a master painter. I finished about three weeks ago and have only used the shower a handful of times so far. I will only update if I find chipping or issues that appear in the future! So far, all good!

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY
I’ve never wished I could leave a negative review more than I have with this product. I’ve had excellent results before using the Rustoleum tub and tile paint kit, but my husband bought this kind for our bathroom and I missed the return window so thought I’d give it a shot. I should have known things would be bad when it says in the instructions “the first coat may look bad but it will came out good after 2-3 coats”. Well, I’m here to tell you that 3 coats and 2 kits later and it still looks bad. Pictures in this review are after THREE COATS which is insanity to me. The Rustoleum kit only needs 2 coats and it covers so beautifully, compared to this crap which looks streaky and opaque after 3 coats. Please save yourself the immense amount of time it will take to paint 4 coats all over your shower walls and tub, and the money it will take to keep purchasing more and more paint, and buy the Rustoleum kit.

Awesome product!! Plumber recommended!
I have an undermount composite kitchen bowl that was very faded and worn looking…as a retired plumber this bothered me but also knew how difficult replacing an undermount kitchen bowl can be…I thought I would try this product first and if it wasn’t satisfactory I could still change the bowl out if needed…I cleaned the bowl and did a light sanding as recommended…I did a coat and then put a fan aimed at bowl to help speed drying…I waited two hours or so between coats(4) and left the fan on overnight…the finish came out great with a light sheen to it and a deep black color…I even coated the garbage disposal throat with four coats and it looks great! So to update I’m two months in and it still looks great! Best 30 bucks I spent in awhile!! Also no smell was a major bonus to the whole project…I highly recommend!!

highly recommend
I used this over 1965 purple tile, it took almost four coats. i got a small foam roller and back brushed a lot to get a smoother surface. i love the way it turned out, i even tried scratching it off with a razor just to see how well this stuff is staying on and it would not come off. i attempted to use an orbital sander but for whatever reason that did not work so i skipped sanding…i was using the recommended grit levels. this stuff is easy to use and does not smell any more than regular paint does. i will be using it in my other bathroom soon. (used a small paint pen for the details on the tile in this pic for those who may be confused by that)

Great resurfacing product.
I used this to resurface my bathtub almost a year ago. I use the bath daily and this product has held up well. Will definitely use it again if I need to resurface a bathtub. I chose this over the rust oleum due to this being acrylic and less toxic.
