I've tried several collagen products over the past year or so for a family member. Unlike most other recently tried collagen products, this one from Purehealth Research is provided in capsule form rather than powder form. Apparently it's the "Marine collagen tripeptide (MoriKol)" that provides the differentiator, although this product also provides other ingredients I haven't seen in other collagen products, such as "Hyaluronic acid (from sodium hyaluronate)". Strangely, however, the dolcas-biotech dot com website (DolCas Biotech actually manufactures this ingredient) uses the spelling "Morikol" rather than "MoriKol", and I'm not sure why Purehealth Research introduces this discrepancy. But regardless, there is no mention of Morikol in the product description here, despite it being a differentiator. According to the aforementioned website, Morikol is a marine collagen tripeptide formula that is "clinically proven to support skin and joint health at industry low doses" which are "as low as 1g/day", and as can be seen from the supplement facts on the side of a bottle of this product, a 1000mg serving is distributed across 3 capsules. The website also explains that Morikol provides a standardized source of tripeptides, which are "very low molecular weight peptides", "only 3-amino acides long", and "digestion proof, absorbing intact through exclusive PEPT1 receptors in the intestines." In each 1000mg serving, 150mg of tripeptides are apparently provided "as a direct substrate for skin tissue healing and regeneration." The product description here also doesn't really explain "Hyaluronic acid", but some light research indicates that it works together with collagen, helping with soft tissue growth, keeping skin moisturized, preventing tightness, boosting elasticity, and reducing scarring.

I am enjoying this Marine Collagen Booster. I love that it contains clean, natural ingredients that nourish and support my skin cells from within. I am looking forward to it giving my skin a smoother, younger appearance. I also appreciate that it is unflavored and unsweetened. I feel good knowing it contains naturally-sourced ingredients like Tripeptide Marine Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe Vera filet extract, and Vitamin E. All of which are ingredients proven to help nourish hair, skin, and nails. It is also wonderful that they took the time to make sure that their collagen peptides capsules are sustainably sourced from kosher, warm-water fish - the cleanest source of any collagen. Marine collagen has a smaller particle size compared to porcine and bovine sources, for superior absorption. Lastly, I love that this product is made in the USA. I highly recommend this product.

The bottle had both a shrink-wrap and an under-cap safety seal.The collagen capsules are reasonably sized and reasonably easy to swallow. A serving is three capsules and the bottle contains 90 capsules for a 30-day supply. I have been taking 1/day as I also use powdered collagen in my daily routine. I have not noticed any adverse or unpleasant side effects. There was no fish taste or odor.I like that the collagen is sourced from Tilapia and that Aloe Vera is an added ingredient. $38.99/bottle is high for a 1 month's supply but doable for my use as a 90-day supply. I love that this collagen comes in a sealed box as well as a sealed bottle! It never hurts to be too safe when it comes to supplements that you ingest. I just thought that was an added touch of to this supplement. I am new to marine collagen, I take liquid collagen every single morning. So I am excited to give this supplement a try. So far this is no fishy taste or foul taste at all, that would my biggest worry when i read marine collagen. I love the ingredients in this supplement like hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. Both those ingredients are great for your skin not to mention the collagen as well! As for the price I do think its fair for such a natural supplement It's $38.99 for 90 capsules which is a 30 day supply. Which comes out to around $1.30 per day! I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to find healthier supplements to take this year!

First, I just want to note that while the item description calls these tablets, they are actually capsules. The bottle is labeled correctly, only the listing is incorrect.I'm almost at the bottom of the bottle, and honestly, I'm glad. I find the capsules to be large and hard to swallow, and to leave a faint but unpleasant taste in my mouth. Taking the daily dosage of three capsules feels like a chore.It arrived in a very nice cardboard box that was quite a bit larger than necessary, but did give the impression, along with the price, of being a high-end supplement. It seems like a good product. I haven't experienced any adverse affects. My skin has been looking pretty good, but it's hard to tell how much of that can be attributed to this product after just under a month of use, but I do think that with continued use, it would probably produce visible results. I just personally am having a hard time choking down the capsules.
