Simple yet perfection!
I wanted to the option to keep the door of my camper van only partially open. This was a challenge, especially when parked on an incline. When I opened the package I was disappointed to see one of the glue/resin cubes had partially leaked and immediately set up a return. However, i allowed the return date to expire, so tried it with what was still in the tubes. There was plenty of useable adhesive. Easy to install. Works perfectly. Its such a slight 'pause' that it doesnt cause any issues opening fully, or closing from fully open. A perfect, functional, simple solution. Thank you so much!

Works as advertised.
Works great! It was easy to install and has stayed in place so far (over 5 days with daily use).

After Initial Doubts, Now SUPER THRILLED!
UPDATE! (12.22.25)...Complete turn around here!! From earlier challenge with incorrect install video, to supremely satisfied.Product works superbly well and is much easier to install (glued version) than it might seem.NOTE: Works well even with power sliding door configuration! I deactivated my power door (was always more of a malfunctioning hassle), but that door has a different slider mechanism. The OpenGlass stopper works well with this bulkier mechanism. The PERFECT fix!!Would give this five stars, but want to wait to see how durability holds up. Will update to five stars if they last a full year+.Original review (one star): What the heck?!... Video shows super simple 3M tape install, but received two packs with finicky resin glue install kit.Need to align your videos and product accurately.VERY disappointed. Thought I'd simple minutes away from install. Now you've stolen my valuable time.Otherwise... Product looks good, but want a 3M version.

Great addition to your van.
We installed using the epoxy that was included. After reading reviews, we used a small piece of painters tape to mark where we wanted the pause. It works great, and highly recommended to keep your door from ramming to a full open- especially if you park on an incline. In addition we called for customer support, which was very informative and helpful.A really good investment for anyone with a sliding door on their van. Highly recommend!! Used on a 2008 Sprinter van.

Great upgrade! (and a few installation notes)
This is just a great upgrade for our Ford Transit based Class B RV. It helps a lot on inclines. Also, when in the van, it makes the reach to the door way easier than when in fully open location.I chose this version due to the details such as the finish and elongated trough and lower height (3mm at peak; 1.5 mm at trough), but also because it's applied with tape which is removable without damage to the van if desired. Some others are applied with adhesive.Just one downside of tape, however. Since the tape adhesion is almost instant, you can't plan on adjusting alignment after you set it down. You might consider using something to guide it into place. In my case, I taped a few mm of shims vertically in the track to guide it into place and also keep it parallel to the track. For handling, I would suggest grabbing it in the center with tweezers. Or grab from the top using a bit of wax on a screwdriver.

Door Stop premature Adhesive Failure
Van door stopper came off in less then 1 year. I was careful to properly clean and attach door stopper properly. I have reached out to their customer support but have not received a response to date. Will update review when a solution is proposed by manufacturer. Update - I have emailed them twice via their customer service portal and have received no response to date (13 Oct 2025). Final update 31 Oct 2025 - approx 6 weeks after initial request they finally did respond and sent a new sliding door stopper that now includes 2 part epoxy. They assured me that the epoxy is much better then the original VHB adhesive tape. Kudos to Openglass Van Mods for making it right.

would buy again
I don't leave a lot of reviews, but this very simple product is EXTREMELY effective -- even held my heavy sliding door on a steep hill. LOVE IT. Would buy again.

Great product
Does the job of holding door in place on hills. We really needed this
User
Great product, simple but very effective.
Bought for my Transit Custom to keep the side door within the footprint of the awning when open. With both surfaces prepped, there was enough resistance to hold the door in place when fine tuning the position before glueing for a very permanent fixing. Very happy with the door stop, works exactly as I envisioned stopping the rising door on the transit putting pressure on the canvas. It takes a small bit of extra effort to close the door but this is a good thing as it means the door stays put. When opening the door fully there is no issue as the momentum pops the door over the stoppper like a little speed bump.

Ingenious little gizmo
Even though pricey, it works like a charm on my heavy van door. Love that I can now partially open my van door. It has been on for one year, and it is still solid. Amazing considering it is just stuck on with a two sided heavy duty tape.

Works so good.
Perfect thing to hold your door wherever you set it. Use it so much I dunno if my door has fully opened since using it. It works so good.

convenient
It works well, but in the heat of the sun, the glue lets loose. I have to come up with a better solution for sticking it down. It's very convenient though when it's attached.
