It does what as designed. Run's smoothly with out problem.

I like it, but those N100/N150 are pretty dang close on price.
I'm very happy with this device. I installed and boot from the a drive i installed instead of the SD card. It took a bit of work, but that was a few years ago, maybe its easier now. The N100/N150 prices are starting to get very comparable now, so see what is best for you.

First and last time ever buying a Orange Pi.
Out of the 5 OS images on their website, i can only get picture on my monitor with 1, DietPi. With the other 4 images(Orange Pi OS(ARCH), Ubuntu, Debian and Armbian) my HDMI monitor says no input, its just black. I even followed their poorly written guide on how to flash your image correct, but the same result or lack there of. But i can see im not the only one having that problem. Searching google "orange pi 5 no hdmi output" gives 12 million results. I only bought this because it was hard to get a new Raspberry Pi, but since they are in stock im gonna try to sell this and get a working SBC.

Software support is medioca
Hardware wise this is great little board that runs circles round the raspberry pi4 in terms of performance. The m.2 nvme pcie slot is a great addition but the missing Bluetooth/wifi is a pain though you can add and external adapter. Unfortunately the biggest issue is the lack of software support though thing are getting betteret.

You might get stuck with a defective unit
Arrived with a dead PCi nvme m.2 slot which is what i needed. Return process is trash so I'm stuck with it. You might get a dead unit and not be able to return it or only get a partial refund. Buyer Beware

Overall this seems like a capable SBC but I just wish it was slightly smaller as I had to return mine due to it not fitting in the space allocated for a sbc
