Great product if you plan on plugging in ambient lights and using your Sentry USB stick
Bought this product to solve the problem with my Sentry USB flash drive not reading when using an aftermarket ambient light dashboard strip that plugs in the glove box USB port. The lights came with a cheap USB splitter and all of the USB plugs were 2.0. The Sentry USB flash drive stick needs a 3.0 to work properly Especially when you plan on plugging additional accessories into that same port in the glove box that will be drawing power away. So far, a week into ownership and haven't had any problems with my Sentry USB Stick not reading and the ambient dashboard lights are still working good, all at the same time.Big plus is that it all looks stock and built in.

Works with sentry memory stick must have
Works with sentry memory stick plus adds extra ports to charge which is great allows me to store my AirPods to charge in secured glovebox. Looks seamless and takes up no space

Inexpensive solution to irksome Tesla issue
When I upgraded my 2018 Model 3 to a 2023, I was disappointed to learn there was only one data-capable USB port in the car, and that was in the glove compartment -- used by the Tesla Sentry flash drive. At first I ordered the TParts module for the center console but could not get it to work. It passed the Amazon return date (of course!) so I decided to try this.I was leery of using the same USB port (in the glove compartment) as the Sentry flash drive used, which is why I tried the TParts module first. I thought perhaps my USB music drive and the Sentry drive would draw more power than the port was designed to provide.I was happily surprised when it did not! Installation is super-easy; if you can plug in a flash drive you can install this hub. It is covered in the same "flocking" as is the interior of the glove compartment, thus once installed you hardly notice it is there. The Sentry drive Tesla includes with their cars plugs into the side of the hub, thus not interfering with the remaining space in front. The Tesla USB originally inserted into the one port straight-in, so the end sticks out toward the passenger. This hub takes up essentially the same depth and with the Tesla flash drive installed to the side rather than straight out there's not much difference -- that is, the hub doesn't take up all that much more usable space in the glove compartment. My music flash drive is of the mini-size type and I installed it to the front. Above the Tesla flash drive (which is 3.1) is a type-c USB port (I don't use that one) and in the front is another USB port (type 2.0) which I also don't use. I just wanted to be able to play my mp3 music in my car again, silly Tesla. One thing I did have to do ... after I first installed the hub and inserted the Tesla Sentry flash drive plus my music flash drive, the Sentry flash drive did not work! I thought I had been right about the power draw all along. On a whim I restarted the screen (Tesla owners know how to do this so I won't elaborate here). Seconds later I had Sentry recording AND my music playing. I was happy at last and now consider my 2023 model to be just as complete as was my 2018.

Does not work well with SSD.
Works well with standard Tesla USB but does not work well with partitioned SSD. Will play around with it to see if I can make it work. Looks great in the glove box

Perfect Hub for Tesla Model 3
Fits custom and perfect in glove box. Provides 3 added USB connections for data transfer, charging, game controller or media drive. Since the console USB outlets no longer transfer data to the Tesla computer (only charging), Extra data ports is required. This is custom solution that looks great and transfers data quickly enough and reliably. Almost Perfect product. Could always use more Type-C ports. Definitely would be my first Tesla accessory purchase. Your mileage unlikely to vary.

Excellent Form, Unusable Function
Connection to Samsung T7 1TB SSD is unstable, did not try other devices, returned for refund. Excellent form, unusable function. It seems like there may be USB driver incompatibility with Tesla's Ryzen based APU.

Looks OEM
This USB hub is simple and elegant. It uses the same material as the inside of the glovebox giving it a seamless look as if it was done from factory. The fit is perfect and snug and makes it easy for me to plug in my sentry drive as well as two wireless gaming controllers.

So Far So Good!
Ok at first this didn't appear to work. Was ready to return it but gave it another shot and it now appears to be working well with 2 USB drives. Overall it looks good and matches up well. Going to continue to watch and see if the performance holds up. Only wished it was a little cheaper. Doesn't need to be that much honestly for what it is.

Does not work at all. Very dissapointed after seeing so many reviews
The device is not functional in any way. I tried unplugging and plugging many times. Also tried connecting directly to a computer and it was completely non-responsive. Returning for a refund.

Does not work. Do not buy!!
The device is not functional. Tried unplugging and plugging many times. Can't even test it out on other devices as the shape of it doesn't allow it to plug in anywhere. Extremely disappointed. Worst amazon buy yet, never received a product thats completely disfunctional.
