Not the cheapest option but always worth the extra investment. Much better quality fit, longevity and feel than other brands. The hose is very good at resisting kinks and it was easy to assemble. Very easy to wind up and feels quality

Brilliant hose. Robust, hasn't twisted up yet even though I left it in full sun. The reel also works perfectly.

Really nice hose reel. Better in all respects to use than cheaper ones in the DIY stores. However the clip that you release to lift it off the wall bracket broke after the first winter. It still hangs in place OK but the clip is to stop it jumping off the wall bracket if you are rough winding it in so we just use a bit more care.

Easy to assemble and all the fittings including the adjustable nozzle. It seems much better than my old hose , no twisting and has improved the outlet pressure. No too heavy and unreels very easily. I bought the sprinkler by the same company and it makes a great setup. The reel feels and looks high quality

The Gardena Classic wall-fixed hose reel was easy to assemble and fits well against the wall without taking up much space. The hose extends and retracts smoothly with no kinks or tangles, and the length is perfect for covering the whole garden. Everything feels solid and well-made - a big upgrade from loose hoses or cheaper reels!

This is what you get when you purchase something designed and manufactured in Germany! We were looking at the expandable hoses to replace our current one, but decided on something 'tried and trusted'. The Gardena is easy to install, the build quality of all parts is excellent and it worked first time with no obvious leaks. The hose itself is a lot more flexible than our old one, which is good as there was no issue with a 'kink' developing between our outside tap and where we wanted the hose reel installed. We've used it by unrolling directly from the wall mount and as long as it's installed correctly I'd say this is fine, and much neater than trailing across the garden. More expensive than some other similar products, but well worth paying the extra for this. Highly recommended.

I bought this item plus the matching 30m Gardena classic hose and connector to extend to a 50m hose configuration. Turns out this reel barely holds 35-40m of hose before it gets jammed into the wall bracket preventing you from reeling in any further. I tried multiple times carefully reeling in the hose to fit the full 50m onto the reel but it jammed due to the reel being full with about 10-15 meters remaining every time. In the end I've had to cut off what was left just before the reel was full and I'd say I now have around a 13m off cut (37m real capacity) so how they say 50m capacity I dont know. Such a shame because otherwise it's a great product. If you plan just to use this with the 20m hose supplied it's a 5/5 product. I wouldn't recommend extending beyond a 35m configuration to avoid disappointment. Pros: -Solid -Reels in the hose easy (with the 20m hose) -Easy to install (3 screws with wall plugs included) -Easy to attach connectors -No leaks -No kinks -Quality product Cons: -Struggles to fit a 40m classic 13mm hose although they state it holds 50m -Doesn't come with a tap connector hose length, you cut your own from your 20m hose.

Era de mis primeros productos que compraba de esta marca y me ha sorprendido la calidad de los mismos Ya había leído muy buenos comentarios aquí Quizas el unico punto negativo es el enganche de abajo que podría quedar más amarrado como el de arriba Por lo demás, la manguera para ser la basica de gardena, muy buena pinta, flexible. Comparada con una manguera Karcher que tengo también básica mejor esta en cuanto a flexibilidad El carro aparenta de buena calidad, ahora a ver lo que tarda en decolorarse por el sol el plastico y se vera la calidad definitiva, pero por el momento la apariencia de 10 Viene con todo lo necesario para el montaje (tacos y tornillos) Y conectores x4 (Para la toma, para el carro, para la toma del carro interior y para la lanza (incluida tambien -con aquastop-) La longitud son 20 m, suficientes para un jardín pequeño-mediano En definitiva, compra recomendada

Design and craftsmanship are outstanding and we are about to buy our second one for the other outside tap. The hose is lightweight and thin, making it a breeze to roll it up. Water throughput is the same as with any other hose I had. The Gardena click system is very useful for changing attachment such as sprinklers.

Well made and is serving us well for the past three years.
