Review: Wiping the floor with it!! - I love this mop. I bought it because I had a poorly dog who was having lots of accidents so was mopping several times a day. My old mop was totally destroyed but this one has a replacement head and the head can go in the washing machine to be sterilised between uses. The bucket is amazing. I honestly thought the spinny system was a bit of a gimic but it actually works!! I had to mop up a load of spilt water yesterday and it was super easy because of the spin dry system. Honestly can’t recommend it enough. Oh also!! Another feature is the pouring spout which can fit my tap through so when I’m filling it, it’s not awkward to get the bucket under the tap. This also means when you’re pouring it out it doesn’t leave a mess on the edge of the bucket. The handle of the bucket has a handy slot to hold the mop handle and the mop can extend or shrink as per requirements so when you’re finished using it, it takes up no room at all.

I have arthritis and find a conventional mop and bucket, where you have to wring the mop out by twisting it manually, extremely difficult and painful. I can now wash my floors quickly and easily. The mop head is nice and absorbent. THE ADDED BONUS IS........IT ALSO DOUBLES UP AS A SALAD SPINNER!!!! Wrap your wet lettuce up in a tea towel, pop it in the spinner compartment ensuring the tea towel is folded securely, and spin. Perfect dry lettuce! UPDATE: AUGUST 2020 I love this mop. It has been a godsend. However, six months in and it's playing up. When pushing down the spin pedal it makes a banging noise and won't come back up to its original position. This results in the mop not spinning properly and all the water being removed. So you have to pull the pedal up and repeat. It sounds as if the cogs are slipping. I only use this mop approximately once a week, so it hasn't really had a hard life. In desertcart's defence, I went to the online chat and within 20 minutes a replacement had been arranged for next day delivery. I cannot complain about their response and there was absolutely no quibble. I'm disappointed in the product though because reading other reviews I'm expecting it to happen again.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is there a knack to open up the telescopic handle? I can only get mine to 37" which is killing my back. Grateful for any tips.**
A: Screw bottom of handle (great area at bottom of handle) to get further extentions. There is 2extensions to handle.

**Q: Is the mop sold separately anywhere?**
A: The mop head comes off to wash.Mop heads on line. Don't know about handle.  It is the best mop and bucket set I have ever had. Would highly recommendx

**Q: does the spinning mop rust? Because my other spinning mop stopped spinning due to rust.**
A: There is a Small Plastic and steel Needle  bearing which rusts if you over fill the water or leave the mop with water in it. They are easy to replace HF081412 is the bearing

**Q: People seem to complain about the length of the handle, how long is it?**
A: 4ft once both parts are extended. The part I didn't realise could twist is about and inch up from the mop head, it doesn't look like it should twist or extend and the instructions on the box do not mention where to twist to extend, maybe something Vileda need to review.

I love this mop. I bought it because I had a poorly dog who was having lots of accidents so was mopping several times a day. My old mop was totally destroyed but this one has a replacement head and the head can go in the washing machine to be sterilised between uses. The bucket is amazing. I honestly thought the spinny system was a bit of a gimic but it actually works!! I had to mop up a load of spilt water yesterday and it was super easy because of the spin dry system. Honestly can’t recommend it enough. Oh also!! Another feature is the pouring spout which can fit my tap through so when I’m filling it, it’s not awkward to get the bucket under the tap. This also means when you’re pouring it out it doesn’t leave a mess on the edge of the bucket. The handle of the bucket has a handy slot to hold the mop handle and the mop can extend or shrink as per requirements so when you’re finished using it, it takes up no room at all.
