What a find!!
I was looking for more quick disconnect air fittings when I stumbled on to these hose ends. When I started to look closer to see if they had them in my "style" of hose end is when I realized that they were meant for use with ANY quick disconnect! As soon as I read that I ordered them and what a find. I have already changed out all the female hose ends in my shop with these. I was running into the issue of having to purchase more male ends every time I ordered a new air tool. Even though most new tools come with a fitting it wasn't what I have been using in my shop. Well that's in the past, since it doesn't matter any more. No matter what comes on the air toll these quick connects work! The added bonus turns out to be the way they work. With the typical quick disconnect you need to hold back the outside collar while you push the male fitting into the socket. This often leads to air escaping as you line up and push the fittings together. Not with these fittings. The locking collar is in a pulled back position when a tool is not connected, so all you do is push the tool into the fitting and the collar snaps forward to lock it in place. No air escaping in the process. Then to disconnect the tool just pull back on the collar and the tool pops off. Also not requiring you to push in on the tool to be able to slide the collar back. I do have two caveats to be aware of, 1) you do need to push a little harder to connect a tool, but its not a big deal since you aren't trying to work the locking collar at the same time. 2) I had one air fitting that leaked badly when I went to use it. Turns out I had dropped it at some point and dented the end of the fitting which was why it was leaking. Just had to replace it. These were a great find and can't recommend enough.

Great fittings
These air fittings are extremely functional and have been crafted to last. Unfortunately, the box they were shipped in was damaged during transit, and consequently broke apart. Despite this minor setback, the air fittings were delivered in perfect condition and are of the highest quality.

Push To Connect Couplers Much Easier Than Old Style
I’ve had an air compressor in my garage for decades, the hoses I’ve had used the typical slide the sleeve connector. I saw these and thought I’d give them a try and see if they make connecting tools easier. I randomly picked one connector to put on my main hose. The threads were clean and smooth, went on fine. I can’t detect any air leaking. The first couple connections with a pressurized hose felt a little stiff, but then seemed to get a bit easier; not sure if that was the case or I became accustomed to making the connection. Assuming no problems crop up in the next few weeks, I’ll put these on my other hoses. For a bit more than $2 per connector, assuming that they don’t have problems after modest use, these are a great value in my opinion.

Air line accessories at HF prices...
Grabbed this quick connects to install a few additional access point in my airline system for my woodshop and garage. These units work great without any issues of the dreaded "hiss" due to not sealing/connecting properly. The set is a great buy when considered against the big box stores and even rivals H.F.'s prices.

Easy one handed connections
Easy one handed connectionsAfter having dealt with all those other compressed air connectors that require one hand to hold the female connector and pull back its locking collar while firmly pressing the male connector into it (which takes quite a bit of strength in both arms) … I came across one of these “push to connect” couplers. What a difference they make!Using just one hand to firmly push the male plug into it is all that is required to make a good connection - assuming that the female connector is rigidly attached to its support (like a wall mounted pipe, etc.). Or even when this connector is on a hose there is no need to pull back the locking collar, simply push the two together and they are connected! You can’t beat that! This “push to connect” connector is available in with either a male or a female 1/4” NPT screw together attachment to a pipe or hose. They function identically except for how they attach to your supply line. This one just happens to be the one with the female end to attach to a standard threaded 1/4” male pipe or hose.

Solid, heavy, and seem to me really well engineered!
Really liked the quality that was my first impression! No matter how many sets of these accessories I get, I always seem to need more- so I also like getting this quantity!
