The Zero is manufactured from durable EPP foam and a detachable prop system adds to the durability by nearly eliminating broken props and bent motor shafts. Like most Rage RC airplanes, the Zero includes the PASS (Pilot Assist Stability Software) system which allows the performance envelope of the airplane to expand with your flying skills and makes flying a more enjoyable experience. With PASS, in Full or Partial Assist Mode, if you ever lose control, simply release the control sticks and the plane will quickly return to level flight. Even when in Expert Mode, if you get into trouble, all you need to do is move the PASS switch on the transmitter to Full or Partial Assist for the system to take over and you're back in level, stable flight. Another option included with the Zero is the removable snap-in-place landing gear that can be used for take-offs from smooth surfaces. The flight time off the battery is about 15 minutes flying on a windy day and can be much higher on a calm day.This thing is super stable with the gyros on, I was flying on a day with constant wind of 15 mph with gusts up to 25. It was no problem for this little guy. If you flew directly into the wind you could fly backwards.If you are worried about it being hard to fly don’t worry. After giving a 30 second explanation of the controls I handed it off to my younger siblings and they all flew it with relative ease.Crashes aren’t an issue as well. The hardest crash I had was one where it went full speed straight down from about 20 ft up, the only damage was a slight indent from the prop hitting the airframe and a smudge from the dirt under the grass. The impact bounced the plane a good 8 ft in the air.One thing to worry about is belly landing, the servo sticks about the bottom. If you come in to hot for a belly landing you can rip the servo out of the plane. This happened to me but it was a super easy fix.
