The Moaning of Life [DVD] [2013]

Another hilarious piece of work from Karl, well worth the watch just like everything else he has done.

Anything with Karl Pilkington is funny watched it god knows how many times

Really enjoyed this, shame it's not included in Prime subscription as I already pay for that, can't really afford the remaining series sadly.

Very funny and a great easy watching series. If you liked Idiot abroad then will love this.

We enjoyed the moaning of life but did feel "An idiot abroad" was better. I think this I because in an idiot abroad he didn't get to choose the countries he visited usually they were countries least on his wish list. Having said that The moaning of Life was still very funny and enjoyable as typical to his character he had a lot to moan about of the countries visited. My favourite was with Warwick Davies who summed Karl up "it's like travelling with a spoilt child".

Moaning has never been so funny. Here Karl looks at birth, weddings, death, money and vocation. He's brilliant because he not only sees things in different ways to other people, we can often agree with him no matter how miserable he puts it. This particular series has no sign of steve merchant or ricky gervais (yay), instead it is introduced by Karl himself. He makes the death episode hilarious. Death- funny?! yes he is that good. If you have never heard of him before then i won't bother giving scenarios from the show, just watch a trailer. This dvd is 5 episodes of about 40 mins each. As per usual there are bits that aren't quite so entertaining, but these are few and far between.

Karl Pilkington is a genius. He is my favourite person in the public eye ( I would say celebrity, but I just don't see him as one, he's far more human than celebrities). At first I was a little dubious that he was doing a series without Gervais and Merchant and worried it wouldn't be that funny, but I can't tell you how pleased I was when just 5 minutes after watching the first episode when I discovered I was wrong. This is the funniest series with Pilkington in my view and if you even remotely enjoyed the Ricky Gervais Show or The Idiot Abroad series you will absolutely love this series and certainly would not be disappointed. I hope they make a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, even 40th series :)

Anyone who enjoys anything with Karl Pilkington in will most definitely enjoy the Moaning of Life. The genius of Karl is simply amazing and hilarious, even more so when you realise what he says has truth in it, and never gets old. Even if you haven't experienced the greatness of Karl Pilkington I would highly recommend this to anyone, and beyond the simple brilliant nature of this series, the way it introduces Karl's' perspective on the series matters can even make you question what you think about them, that's how good it is.

I got hooked on Karl when watching him travel from country to country on 'Idiot Abroad.' Now, I have watched the first few episodes of "The Moaning of Life" on this BluRay and love it. Super funny. The only downside is that it is a format that some USA DVD players will not play. My Sony would not play it, but my LG DVD player will play it.

Although the description says "NTSC" this Blu-ray doesn't play on North American systems. The description is incorrect and the box doesn't mention which system it is compatible with. Once you open it then you're stuck with it, so make sure you can play region 2 disks.Of course I have to give the contents 5 stars but that's only once you get to watch it.

A good follow up for those of you that enjoyed 'Idiot Abroad' as Karl continues on his saga. I played this bluray in my PS4 with no problems. The disc itself is marked as import but 'NTSC' format.

If you are a fan of Karl, this is a fun series. However, it would not play in my Sony Blue Ray. I have an LG and a Samsung Blue Ray Player, and no problems with either of those. So, if you only have a Sony, you may want to hesitate before purchasing this.
