I don't quite understand what 'natural tree syrup' is or why it fills you up and gives you energy (maybe I don't want to know) but it does. I haven't been doing the lemon detox diet as instructed but sort of building up a tolerance to less food by using this stuff more and more often. At first I had the maple lemon water for breakfast and had as late a lunch as possible for a few days, then hat a juice for breakfast and dinner and just had tea at the normal time, then on to the odd full day full lemon detox (maybe one day a week). I find this has worked wonders, I don't feel at all tired or sluggish and, although you sometimes crave food, you are never hungry. Its a million times easier that I thought it would be. I think I have lost 5 lbs this week and am happy to carry on like this indefinitely. It seems a healthier, less restrictive way of doing the detox too I think. I am aware that some people don't seem to like the taste, which would be a big problem, but after the first one I really enjoyed it. I don't use pepper or ginger, just half a lemon squeezed and then dropped in and sometimes a few orange wedges too. It also helps if the water is super cold. I would really recommend anyone struggling with food and mindfulness to give it a try. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fabulous and invigorating - great weight loss programme! *by M***S on 19 March 2015* I first tried this product a couple of years ago and lost 1lb a day over 14 days so was very happy. Since then use it every few months just to keep the weight off and take off any extra pounds that have crept back on. I love it, and as soon as I taste that first glass! I feel better - I really look forward to it. I sleep better, work better and feel invigorated. I really don't understand the reviews where people say they were nauseous or faint as have never had that side effect. I think much of this is to do with your state of mind. Plan when you're going to do it and don't be tempted into situations where you may crack and you will see great effects. It will work if you do it. One tip though, if you do the 14 day plan, make sure you wean yourself back onto normal food gradually as per the instructions, or you will be ill! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Totally worth the struggle *by A***R on 10 January 2020* This is the 4th time I’ve completed this diet over 4 years every January for the 10 days. I’ve lost 11lb sometimes 9lb depending on how much weight I had to loose. The first day is hard knowing how long you have left. Second is worse. After day 3 I sleep better. Feel organised and happy. Taking control of my diet after over indulging endures I don’t go back to my old ways. The taste is ok but palatable. Ensure you drink freshly squeezed OJ for the first two days then introduce blended soup otherwise your stomach won’t feel to good. Good luck and stick to it.
