when providing a decent coverage what area does one of these cans cover?

A 5Ltr. can was sufficient to coat the underside of a 110 Defender and ingress areas such as doors and sills. I have a small quantity remaining in the container. Spraying pressure was about 1Bar. Hope that helps. JM.

How many 1tr cans would be needed to coat the under side of a large Jeep 4x4?

Hammer website says coverage is 500ml per square metre, depends how much plastic pre fitted to wheel arches and how thick you want it but I think 4 cans would be adequate.

Can it be painted on?

I don't believe this one can be painted on. Apparently there is a brush on one and a spray can version but this isn't it.

Will this 1lt tin screw straight on to the Sealey SG14 spray gun

I got the bigger version 5L but I can advise you that Waxoyl will dilute down in white spirit and this makes it goe further and penetrate inaccessible areas. PLEASE NOTE Spraying is Highly Inflammable And not good for the lungs Mask-Up If applying to a motor Vehicle even small amounts of Waxoyl on the disc Brakes will reduce their effectiveness for a while
