Valdearcos Spanish Terracotta Casserole Dish/Stew Pot/Dutch Oven - 4.5 Litre Capacity

What a delightful pot, it’s a good size and food tastes delicious when cooked in. I cooked pasta sauce on my cooker top which is gas at low heat and the flavour is amazing. Remember to soak for 4 hours prior to first use or it will crack.Can I also add it was delivered within a couple of days of ordering very efficient. These are made from good quality terracotta I have other pots from this company which are also amazing.

Nice pot but very very heavy and would have struggled with it when full. Returned.

CAUTION - not waterproof! Following the instructions to initially soak it for at least four hours, I thought that the best way would be to leave it full of water overnight. Result was a flooded worktop, a couple of centimetres of water gone and visible leaking all over the sides. Seller said "it is not made to hold water for a long time!!!!!" I have never had a glazed pot before that leaked and I leave them soaking before washing to remove food remains.

I love this product because it maintains heat giving brilliant tasting food then any other pot it's also a natural clay pot defiantly recommend to anyway who's having doubts I'm using it in!

The worst clay cooking pot I've ever owned. It last 2 uses. That's shocking!!! I've got other clay pots that have lasted years and still going strong but this one was the worst ever. Returned back to the useless supplier who then doesn't refund me or respond to my messages. Don't expect any help from this useless lot if you have any issues. Have complained to trading standards and my credit card company!!!!!

Food tastes great and the pot itself so beautiful!!

Very pleased with the final cooking results.Keeps food moist and delicious.Only criticism is that the lid needs to be re designed so that it’s easy to take off when wearing oven gloves.
