FANTASTIC
Extremely convenient for cold brewing your favorite coffee. The infuser holds ~2 oz of coffee grounds, without room for much more. This is sufficient, I think, to get a strong brew with 4 cups of water. I've used it 6 times (one 12-oz bag of coffee) and it's been fantastic. As long as the lid is properly on, then grounds are retained in the insert when dispensing coffee. The O-rings for the screw top and the lid don't leak, and I suspect they'll continue to hold up well with use. The infuser insert unlocks/detaches and locks/attaches to the top easily with a slight twist, and the used grounds have been coming out easily with just a few good shakes. The only thing I somewhat worry about is properly cleaning the infuser insert. Hot water does a decent job in the short-term, but I expect coffee lipids will build up on the mesh over time. One needs a good brush that is narrow enough and long enough to reach all the way to the bottom of the insert. Will update if this changes.

Cold brew is a thing in my life now, thanks to this.
I grabbed this for my sister as a Christmas present. It's a great device, and has produced some wonderful coffee. It's still doing its job wonderfully even after a year of owning it. It worked a little bit different than I was expecting, but I ended up appreciating it because it keeps coffee grounds from accidentally making its way into the cold brew when you're pouring water in. It also guarantees that all the grinds get wet and its design allows for even steeping. I saw some negative reviews complain about some grinds getting through when cold brewing: cold brew is meant to be done with the coarsest grind possible, like a French Press. I've not had a single issue with grinds getting through, or even powder. It's true that sometimes there's a bit of sediment at the bottom, but the same exact thing happens when you use a French Press, and cold brewing is a very similar concept. This would be the case even if you were to use a fine mesh bag, however, so that's just part of the brewing process and not at all a fault of the product. This product is convenient, easy to use, and even easier to clean up. It's a great investment!

I like it. The first time I used it
This is the first cold brew coffee maker I've purchased. Overall, I like it. The first time I used it, I lifted the top and dumped six scoops of Christopher Bean ground coffee into the diffuser. The coffee tasted a bit weak after 24 hours, so I let it brew another 24 hours. That did the trick. It wasn't until I got to the last cup that I noticed the grounds lying in the bottom of the carafe. I had to toss the last cup away because I didn't want to drink the grounds. For the second pot, I dumped the grounds in after I filled the carafe, thinking that this might solve the problem. It didn't. This is my fault because I didn't read the instructions, which say to use coarse ground. I figured that it would be okay to use the fine ground because the mesh on the diffuser is pretty fine. I'm going to see if Christopher Bean offers a medium or course ground. If not, I'll go on a hunt for a fine mesh strainer so that I can enjoy that last cup. The reason I give the Zell Cold Brew Coffee Maker 4.5 stars out of 5 is because of the way it cleans. I wanted to remove the diffuser completely so that I could put it and the lid on the top rack of my dishwasher, but I wasn't able to detach it, and the instructions said to unscrew the cap to dump the rest of the grounds. I held the diffuser under my faucet and used warm water to clean it. Not a big deal, but I thought it was worth mentioning if you are wondering if you can clean the cold brewer in the dishwasher. The carafe is made of glass and will fit in the bottom rack of your dishwasher. The top and handle are very sturdy, and I like the way the clear top covers the diffuser so that no grinds come through while you're pouring your drink. I was able to store it in the door of my refrigerator while brewing, which helped me save space. I would recommend this brewer if you're looking to make iced coffee.

Wonderful product! I had always thought cold brewed coffee ...
Wonderful product! I had always thought cold brewed coffee would taste like regular coffee that had gone cold, and that tastes terrible. I got the idea of trying cold brewed coffee from the Black Rifle Coffee Company that had a recipe for it and decided to give it a try. Boy, was I surprised! This is now my go-to summer drink here in Texas. Tastes almost like Starbucks Frapuccino (sp) and not nearly as expensive. The Zell coffee maker works wonderfully, is easy to clean and works like a champ. Very happy I purchased it.

Love it!
This works great! I love the included fruit infuser option too. I like to use grounds that are a little finer than recommended so I get stronger coffee. I also brew it outside the fridge because I find when it is a little warmer, it brews stronger. Then I put it in the fridge when it's done and it lasts me about a week! Makes amazing iced coffee and the pitcher is a great size!
