Review: Lasts a really long time! - So I need to preface that I’ve been doing my own hair at home for a while. I went from a faded purple that I then stripped, then applied this color and oh my goodness it’s so vibrant. I dyed my hair July 26th, and today is October 16th for an idea (and I’ve only dyed it once which was in July. It still is SO vibrant. It faded to a magenta color but I still get so many compliments on my hair. Some things to keep in mind: - it will stain. If you get it in your tub, let some spray bleach sit on it, it will take it out. If you stain your skin, it can wash out after a few attempts or you can use rubbing alcohol. - even now my hair still bleeds when washing it after dying it 3 months ago, so just keep that in mind. - you’ll have a more vibrant effect if you have a lighter base and it will stick a million times better on pre-lightened hair. It won’t stick to virgin hair well. Your hair doesn’t have to be blonde in order to get a vibrant result but the lighter it is, the better the result will be. (Don’t melt your hair trying to achieve my color, I’ve done a number on it within the last year and I’ve been using bonding treatments to get my hair to where it is) Overall, I absolutely am wowed by how long this color has lasted. It truly is a beautiful color and prior to this, I had arctic fox dye on my hair and it washed out after 5-6 washes. I also don’t wash my hair every day. I’ll wash it twice a week so that will help with the life of your hair color but even so, I’ve never had a dye last this long especially a semi permanent. If you’re looking for a fun color, I highly recommend manic panic. Just PLEASE prepare for staining. Any fashion color is bound to stain. Make sure you’re able to either a. Deal with it until it fades off your skin or b. Take precautions before and/or after applying the dye.
Review: vibrant and long lasting! - one of the best hair dyes out there! it stays in my hair for so long and it’s still vibrant! for me the ends and the top of my head fades out the fastest, the middle of my hair usually stays pretty vibrant. even with my hair faded, i still get compliments! However these are pretty small, i have average hair length, and curly hair and i need two jars. my hair only bleeds in the shower the first couple times after i dye it. its a pretty great semi permanent hair dye!

**Q: how did blue moon last?**
A: All Manic Panic colours can last up to 2 months depending on how you dye your hair and the brightness of your hair prior to dying. Obviously, all Manic Panic dyes work best on bleached hair or hair that is a faded version of your desired colour. What has worked the best for me (and mind you, I cannot speak on behalf of others) has been mixing 1 jar of Manic Panic hair dye with an equivalent amount of your favourite conditioner or deep conditioner (I switched to Wen hair care and it works brilliantly) and an 8th cup of argan oil. Then I would leave this mixture in over night and wash it out in the morning. That I've seen, there is no significant risk of damaging or split ends, but you must keep in mind that everyone's hair is different and what works for me may not necessarily work for you or your friend or your mom.

**Q: What is considered 'darker' hair? It says it dyes darker hair. Would it work on dark dirty blonde hair? Thanks!**
A: I've used all different colors of the manic panic hair dye on alot of different hair types, and the dye always works the best with lighter hair colors. I don't think you should have a problem with your hair type, but I always got the best results leaving the hair dye in for about 90 minutes. Its very thin and watery liquid and it's a small hat so if your hair is past your shoulders you would need more than one jar. It would also help if you used a lightening bleach on your hair first if you want your hair color to look like the actual dye :)

A: If you dont bleach your hair. It will make it a navy blue. My daughter and I have dark brown hair but if you want to know how to truly lighten your hair to white without bleach, let me know.

one of the best hair dyes out there! it stays in my hair for so long and it’s still vibrant! for me the ends and the top of my head fades out the fastest, the middle of my hair usually stays pretty vibrant. even with my hair faded, i still get compliments! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ THE red

so red and it glows if you have red/pink/orange led's!! the tiniest almost imperceptible touch orangey if you're super super picky but it is firetruck red even after shampooing and high heat (490f cause i have very thick hair) highly recommend!! i used a jar and a half for 4b/3c shoulder length hair and put the rest in a bottle of conditioner to keep my color vibrant after washes. it will stain EVERYTHING so use vaseline before hand because alcohol wipes can only do so much, and if you're fair skinned i can imagine you will look like a lobster if you dont protect your skin lol I pre lightened with level 30 developer and i started at around a level 4-6 (darkish brown with red understones) and went straight in with the manic panic on towel dried hair
