However, the surface of the model itself has sufficient recessed lines and rivet detail to give the model visual interest. With a little bit of work, patience and filler, you can end up with a thoroughly presentable model. The decals are really good - I got them to lay down really flat and with no creases or silvering. I was really impressed by these. The instructions are straight forward enough, with no obvious mistakes and pretty easy to follow. Overall, I'd say this kit is good value for money - at 1/32 scale you're able to get detailed with the paint job and weathering, and the decals really do help give this a good finished appearance. I did have to file off REVELL that was stamped on the model which intially stopped the wings going together until I had filed it off.
