It is just for show. Metal body with plastic props that are a bit too delicate. Well made otherwise though. **Q: Is this a RC helicopter or model?** A: It's a 1/35 scale model,no RC. **Q: How long and wide is the model, dimensions?** A: 1/48 scale 17in. long approx. tail to end of pilot tube 22in. wide approx. with props fully extended **Q: By any chance can this kit be built in the storage mode with wing and props folded for below deck?** A: Negative! The only gripe I have is the body, It doesn't line up so have had to do a lot of filling apart from that I'm quite impressed.
