I wouldn't personally use it for clothing as it has good stretch (50%) but not such great recovery. I have calculated 20% negative ease and am using it to make a divan base wrap and a headboard cover for a single bed. It stretches nicely, is easy to work with and looks great for that purpose. I wouldn't particularly choose this fabric for dressmaking because only stretches widthways and not lengthways, and it doesn't feel soft like dress fabric against the skin. But for the purpose I bought it, it is excellent value and I am very pleased. 5* all round for the fabric and the seller. This was okay as I had 3 boxes to cover and I put the lighter in the middle.
