I am not well versed in the ways of charcoal quality lol, but these seempretty good so far :)The sizes varied from small, medium and large thickness which is what I wantedand none arrived broken thanks to the tin.They don't feel scratchy to me and the foil wraps are a nice touch.

The BEST charcoal I have ever used.
This is great, smooth, not scratchy. I will only buy this kind from now on. I also really appreciate the tin as opposed to the flimsy boxes that most charcoal comes in.
