This magnifying glass gets used by everyone in my house. The kids use it to look at little things up close and satisfy their curiosity, and my husband and I use it for the tiny print and small details we don’t see like we used to, lol. The large viewing area makes it actually useful, not frustrating, and the light really helps when the room lighting is bad. It’s comfortable to hold, easy to use, and it even comes with a neat little storage pouch to help keep it clean and prevent any damage, especially to the glass. The weight is perfect, not heavy and easy to hold for prolonged periods of time. The handle is long and honestly so well shaped and balanced with weight and the size of glass, it’s just perfect. Well made, durable and child friendly. One thing to know is that it takes 3 AA batteries and they are not included, so make sure to have those ready, you’ll hate waiting for batteries believe me lol Very good buy for our household.

I have been looking for a top-quality magnifying glass for at least one year. I finally found a great product in this purchase. I wanted to be able to read fine print without straining or swapping out prescription eyeglasses. Although I wanted more of a hands-free "desktop" lens, I couldn't find anything that I thought would work for me. And I didn't want to wear anything on my head. I am pleased with the following features: large viewing lens, crisp image, and comfortable handle. My biggest surprise was that the three LED lights are very bright and helpful. The lens itself has a smaller lens that also works quite well. This magnifier is a little heavy, but that's the trade-off for having a large, high-quality lens and a handle that holds 3 AAA batteries for the LED lights. My only concern is that when I tap the lens gently on a soft surface (my couch) I hear a slight rattle. To me that only means that I should take care not to be too rough with the lens (and I'm thinking that's a good idea, regardless).

This replaced my old one and I was hesitant since it seemed a bit inferior. I couldn’t be any more wrong! It’s great. Clear large glass with a sturdy handle and bright light.

This is by far the best magnifying glass I have ever owned. I have worn eyeglasses most of my life and I cannot usually see through magnifying lenses. They typically are too small and skew my vision so that it is hard to see the print without the perimeter blurring. With this extra large lens, I see more of the reading area without the perimeter blurring. And I can actually see what is being magnified! As far as the scratch resistant lens, I actually dropped my car keys on it a couple of times and ...no scratches... I think it is pretty amazing as well! This magnifying glass has 10X, 20X, and 45X also it has 3 LED built lights which is extremely useful when inspecting tiny print. The 5.5-inch extra-large lens super nice. The addition of UV sets it apart from other magnifying glasses. All around this is a great magnifying glass. Strong points - glass lens (resists scratching), large diameter, 10x main glass excellent for reading when combined with the large diameter, comfortable handle. Looks good. m Takes 3 ea. AAA batteries - just for info. Areas for improvement - lighting is very good but would be better with a ring of LED's.

I don't know why magnifying glasses say, "10x, 20x, 45x" when each higher power is confined to a little circle where you can only read 1 word or 1 letter at the time. I bought this for my mom and, it IS nice - the lights helped her see - but her vision has gotten worse and now that I'm trying to find a WHOLE magnifying glass twice as strong, I have to weed through this type of stuff. The only real complaint about this magnifying glass is that the battery cover will not stay on, and now Mom's is lost.

This magnifying glass is very practical. The 3 LED lights plus the UV light make it easy to see small details clearly, and the large lens is comfortable to use. I like that it comes with a storage bag and cleaning cloth, which makes keeping it in good condition simple. Great for reading or inspecting small items.

I bought this for my mother who is having a real difficult time seeing they all seem too small or too heavy and she just absolutely loves it. There are three different switches for brightness and she even carries it in her purse. I was so happy because she was having a hard time seeing! She uses it all the time it runs on three AAA batteries and it is well worth the price and good quality.

Very good stuff for who need it .

I have cataracts and I need a bit of assistance with reading now. I use this wonderful magnifying glass every day. It's sitting next to my computer right now. I mostly use it to help me read type on screen. The only downside to this glass is the batteries for the light drain pretty fast but the light is not needed for screens, which are already brightly lit. I have purchased many magnifying glasses over the years and but this is the one I use now every day.
